"Father hates me," he decides. "Why else would he make this happen? I've been with Michael plenty of times, sure, but MOST of the time I was on top! This is ridiculous!" |

Michael is watching stonily, not responding... but Gabriel can tell he's upset. "Come on, Brother!" Gabriel calls. "It's all in good fun. Besides, they're destroying our crops." |

He ponders calling out to Gabriel, but decides to keep it a secret. Gabriel is under enough stress, lately. He doesn't need the additional weight of a coming baby. "That's it, no more blood for me. This baby is going to be clean. I vow it!" Softly he rubs his own belly. "I promise YOU. " |
