Seraphine rules the Kingdom of Chartreuse alone; her husband having died before her only son, Ames, was born. Most of Stygios doesn't know that Seraphine is not only a Magi, but an ancient one at that, having served as queen of her country for several different generations under the guise of her own descendents. Originally betrothed to her brother, Ethan, she ruled the country alone for centuries after his mysterious disappearance. Overall, she is a fair and just queen.
