As a Boy, he grew up on the family cattle farm. His parents wanted to get rid of the wild horses in the area because they would eat at the pasture and the crops. Rickey loved going out every day to watch herd and was enchanted by their beauty and strength. One day he found a orphaned foal in the woods boardering the cattle pasture andconvinced his cynical parents to let him take care of the foal. Ever scince, Rickey has just loved horses and works as a stable hand now for many Ranch familys.
