A cold mountainous island off the coast of Norway, Varfjell is often described as a harsh yet beautiful place, favorable to tourism, not so much actual living. Most of the activity is concentrated within the large castle town resting in the foothills; its name changed numerous times to honor whichever pompous lord occupied its palace. This however ended after the reign of Olaf Tharaldson IV, whose murderous antics greatly diminished the town’s population. To avoid such chaos, the Castle Town had since been overseen by four different lords: Koleriske, Melankoli, Sanguine, and Flegmatisk. With the coming of industrialization, development had branched off from the castle town further downhill. Nevertheless, a large portion of Vargfjell still remains rather barren with exception to a small Viking village, a strange castle, an abandoned mine, and several houses scattered in a disorganized mess.
