Ash Smith is a single mother to a girl named Anna. They share a house with Max and Grace Griffin(who are siblings). Max soon proposes to Ash and so they spend a lot of time together in the attic, Ash sculpting and him "dabbling." Unfortunately, one day while "dabbling," Max dies an untimely death. Ash who is pregnant with Max's son(Max Jr.) becomes very depressed, until she hears about Ambrosia. So she becomes a master chef, cooks all day, takes care of Max Jr., and mourns Max. no more fits:/
