White Painted Pyro-Pit

Like many fireplaces in old houses where much or all of the wood work has been painted, so has the wonderful old wood framing of this fireplace. Its once fine wood finish that showed off its grain is now under many layers of paint, the top most being white. It would take alot of work and dedication to remove the many layers of paint and restore its original finish without destroying the wood.
