1890-1920. During the turn of the century, a new style of architecture took form across America and the rest of the world. Known in history as the "Guilded Age" or "Edwardian Period". People grew tired of the dark and gloomy brownstones of the Victorian era and instead prefered white limestone. A more brighter and pleasing alternative.
