Christopher lost his wife Hannah in a fire. Now he has to raise their three children by himself. He wants to be a writer but will the income support him and his family? Rebecca, his teenage daughter, is a daredevil. Will she be able to keep herself and her younger siblings out of trouble? Bryan misses his mom and he spends his time fishing to keep from being depressed. Rebecca is young and doesn't really understand the concept of Mommy being gone.
