Meine Story:
Hi! I'm a 40-something who loves to play the Sims! When not playing Sims, I love to spend time with my husband Will (the Will in willncindi) and 3 "kids" (cats), reading, and reconnecting with new/old friends on Facebook. And yes, I describe myself as a "virtuoso" as I've been a pianist since I was 2 years old. Professionally, I am a consultant for architectural structures to make sure they are accessible to the disabled, as well as the main web designer for College Life Guide at http://college-life-guide.com. Although I can't do either of my jobs on the Sims, I DO enjoy building houses and hope to add some of my offerings for Sims 3.

In the meantime, I hope I can send my young adults to University and then their own apartment during the changing seasons while making extra spending money in their own business or enjoying nightlife while their cats or dogs sit at home. All with hopes of vacations at the beach, camping, or in the Far East. Sims 2 spoiled me too well...except for FreeTime. Unless I had music/dance Sims, they were too busy doing everything else!

Back to Basics

Actually, it was a very sad thing.  In July 2010, had to reformat the computer, and just never got back around to reinstalling Sims 3.  In fact, I\'ve been playing Sims 2 and have barely even installed just the base game + University + Nightlife + Open to Business....nothing else. 

I do have a disk with all my downloads on it, but haven\'t had the heart to put them back on because I love how fast the game is running.  However, at least I did remember to have my favorites on the Sims 2 site, because there are some great user-created families and houses I loved. 

Sooner or later, I\'ll reinstall Sims 3....along with installing Late Night.  Haven\'t had the heart to buy Generations or any of the newer stuff packs yet since I haven\'t reinstalled the game yet.  Just having fun remembering why I loved the Sims in the first place.

In fact, on my new website at http://college-life-guide.com , I mentioned Sims 2 University.  That was my favorite expansion pack (even better then Seasons), and I love sending my Young Adults to college still. 

Anyway, since it\'s been umpteen months since I updated, figured I might as well.  Especially since the Sims 2 page was down for maintenance right when I was about to reinstall everything I had on there, lol.

Tons and tons of problems!

After loading World Adventures and playing for a day, saving my game, etc....logged back in the next day and the husband was dead!  He had not been exposed to any kind of mummy curse, although he had a mild electrocution case. Agnes Crumplebottom disappeared while on her vacation.   Needless to say, had to start all over.  VERY disappointing. 

Have not had a chance to build any houses lately.  Right now, downloading lots instead to grab some extra patterns as well as ideas.
