Wow, I\'ve been really enjoying the customization thing. What you see in my studio is such a small bit of all the things I\'ve actually done so far--it\'s crazy! Still not totally loving building other than the customization and amazing landscape items. Guess I\'ll get used to it eventually but I\'m having too much fun recoloring everything and just playing. Have I mentioned how much I love the no load screen thing? It\'s fabulous! I do miss a few things from TS2 but hopefully they\'ll come along in EPs as we go: Seasons, OFB, Pets and Uni come to mind right off the bat. It would be nice to have apartments too but hey, you can\'t have everything right away, right? The other thing is huge: Please, please, please EA, can we get a version of HC? I really miss being able to create my own templates for walls and floors--there are so few in the game that I really like so I keep reusing them. I do love not having to use SimPE to recolor so that\'s a huge bonus. Finally made my simself as an adult (I totally forgot that YA was the default and it\'s been a minute or two since I was one of those) and I have to say I like her much better than the YA version. Ah well, enough rambling for today.
Finally coming up for air...

So I\'ve pretty much been playing every available minute of the past 11 days. I\'ve got most of it down and as evidenced by my uploads (there are tons more that haven\'t even made it to my page), I\'ve been a busy thing. I\'m totally into just playing for the time being because it is just so time-consuming to actually build anymore--I\'ve got way too many choices already and I\'m always doing new customizations. I do wish they had a better selection of windows. The landscape stuff is amazing and the freedom to build diagonally is very cool. Off to see what new things my Simmies surprise me with!
Takes a bit of getting used to.

I\'ve spent the past two days trying to get accustomed to the game. There are such fabulous features in this that it does take some time to get used to. I have to say overall I am loving the game and am a bit frustrated to only be able to spend a couple of hours a day getting used to it all. Of course all my plans went by the wayside the minute the game was installed--I flitted all over the place to see this, that and the other. Building is \"interesting\" now. Guess it\'s just a matter of getting the hang of things all over again. I can\'t wait for the weekend so I can just mess with it non-stop and really uncover tons of things. The game is truly an amazing piece of programming to be sure. My Sim even sings in the shower! Come on Friday--let\'s end this week so I can get busy simming!

\r\nAnother Monday morning. It\'s going to be murder getting through work today and tomorrow. I\'m pretty sure I\'ll have nothing but this game on my mind until I have it in my hot little hands. Decided to go lunchtime tomorrow to make sure I get a copy. (Hope they don\'t sell out before then--fingers crossed)
\r\nOf course tomorrow will be the real killer to get through. Especially if I manage to pick up the game lunchtime. Hmmm..wonder if anyone would realize I\'ve gone missing from work? Yeah, probably. Best I can hope for is to be stuck in back to back to back meetings all day--at least I can sort of drift off to other thoughts in them!
\r\nSo I\'m seeing more and more people have gotten their games already--maybe I should rethink my whole \"I\'m not pre-ordering, I\'ll go and get it at the store on release day and maybe it will also be on sale policy\". Although I\'ve a feeling that once I do that--all the pre-orders will wind up coming a week later...
\r\nHmmm...maybe I should change one of my traits to unlucky? Nah! Come on Tuesday at 4:30--can you get here already?
