Member ChannelFadge gets a recommend and mention from me in my blog. His (I think he is a he) Ongbogtus Skunts character is the most original funny creation I have seen yet on the Sims 3 and it was funny to see my creation Disgraceful Her in his video.

Just noticed after my entry to my blog yesterday the mentioned member has now reuploaded My Nicholas Cage, Mr Miyagi and Daniel Son.
Has this member not got any creations of her own? It is about time she stopped reuploading other people\'s creations and came up with her own ideas.

Just thought I would add a note to anyone reading this who enjoys my creations. A certain member has reuploaded my Ariel The Mermaid, Freddy Krueger and Satan Himself.
These are NOT her creations, so please do not download them from her or add any recommendations. It will be obvious who the person is by just comparing those creations I have mentioned above.
Hopefully something will be put in place soon to stop this from happening and the items will be removed from her studio. I have noticed she has reuploaded many other people\'s creations also.

Okay so I have created a whole bunch of sims now, from celebs to my own made up characters. I am really enjoying doing them.
Create A Sim truly is great, just wish it had a few more features to make it brilliant. Hey ho I am getting used to it now.

Well finally Agnes Crumplebottom twin daughter\'s have turned into children, which at least means no more having to feed them or change dirty nappies etc. She was really getting depressed as she had no time at all for her painting or book writing.
Sadly though Agnes lost her sister at her birthday party, she dropped dead and the grim reaper came to get her, so now as her tombstone is on her lot, she not only has her deceased husband Erik Darling wondering about at night, but now also her sister. Will become a graveyard soon if people keep dropping at that rate . lol

Well, it didn\'t take too long with Clark. He\r\nneeded a bit of persuasion at first, but once she asked him to be her\r\nboyfriend, he was putty in her hands and that night they did the deed.\r\nSurprisingly, just the once was all she needed as I heard the sound straight after telling me she had conceived.

Agnes Crumplebottom

Okay so I have been playing her for a couple of days now in Sunset Valley and quite enjoying her so far. This is her story.
Agnes became a widow when her husband died on honeymoon before she even got to take his name. She is a bit of a loner and doesnt like big crowds of people. She has recently maxed out her skills of painting and has had a couple of short term jobs, such as teaching at the school and now has one to paint 15 paintings for the town hall. She also write books and is maxing out her skills in that. She is currently writing a romance novel.
Anyway she is fast approaching being an elder and has recently had a wish to have a romance. So along comes Clark Gauer the repairman and luckily he is single. The thing is, she has got quite used to being on her own and is not interested in anything long term, although she has got a bit of a plan up her sleeve. She wants to seduce Clark so that he will try for a baby with her, in the hope of getting her pregnant to raise a child to look after her in her old age and take on her assets when she dies.
Trouble is Clark has other ideas, he loves her company and her flirting, but is only happy kissing and cuddling for now. Trouble is Agnes doesnt have much time on her hands, she needs to get pregnant pretty soon before she approaches her birthday and becomes and elder.

Story Progression

Am I the only person who likes the story progression feature.
That was one thing that bugged me in the sims 2, that whenever you played a family everyone else stayed the same age. So you could have a teenager say who goes off to college leaving his best mate behind, then when he returns after finishing college and is then an adult, his friend is a still a child. I hated the fact you had to play every single family to get them to age up to the right stage in your story.
I no longer have to do that in Sim 3. Okay it may mean that some familes die off without even getting to play them, but I actually think that makes it all the more fun.

Okay so this is not a book it\'s a game. But the same applies really.
I don\'t know if anyone has read the \"A day in the life\" of story on the Browne family in the Prima Office guide. I have found it really interesting reading. It shows how differently your sims life can go by make different choices re their careers etc. One working from home so not really socialising with other, the other going out to work.
I am excited to get playing again now. But am also enjoying their story so far and want to finish the guide so that I am aware of all the new features etc.
I have to say I wasn\'t too sure about the game when I first got it, there were certain things I was disappointed with. But now I am really enjoying it. I think they have done brilliantly with it, despite lots of complaints from other\'s re: the game.
I think it just shows we should give things a chance and at least play it for a while before making out minds up once and for all. Instead of playing the game for a very short time and not even experimenting with all the options that are available within the game. How can anyone say a game is rubbish when they haven\'t really played it to it\'s full capability.
So I ask anyone reading this, don\'t make up your minds just yet, keep playing for now. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at just how good the game actually is.

So I had a bit more of a play around with Create a Sim today and created my own Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Not yet put them into the game, as I am not sure what I want to do with them yet. I did however upload them onto the exchange.
and wait for it. I finally played the game WOOHOOOOOOO lol.
I decided to play Riverview and a family called The Grisby\'s which consists of Walter - the dad, Yvette- the mum, Laurel - the daughter and now they have a new member of the household another little girl that Yvette recently gave birth to called Jennie. Laurel is starting to get interested in the Arts, so will be interesting to see where it goes with her and Yvette has ambitions to raise five children into Teenager\'s. So that\'s one done and then hopefully Jennie, so just need to get her to have 3 more children lol. I think I am going to be busy. I am going to play this family for a bit and see where the story goes.
As for the game itself, I am actually really liking it. Okay so you can\'t go into the buildings when they go to work etc, which is a little disappointing, (hopefully that will change in an expansion pack), but there are so many new features and things to do. I am finding the controls of moving about the screen a little weird, so it must be different to Sims 2 and I expect it doesnt help using a mousepad on my laptop. Might have to dig my wireless mouse out.
I expect there is so much I am missing doing, so I really should get reading the guide to learn everything.

Just bought the official Prima Guide

I spent so much time messing about with \"Create a Sim last night and getting used to how it works that I spent no time at all playing the actual game. So I went out and bought the official guide today. There are so many changes and new things and I find the in game tutorials too busy. So thought it would be much better getting used to everything by reading through the book at my own pace.
I just need a good quiet session now to be able to play the game. Have been so busy I haven\'t had a chance.

Ok so I purchased the game today.
At first glance the game looks good. Lots of customable content such as hair colour, clothes design etc. The one thing I felt it was really lacking is hairstyles. I was very disappointed to see they didn\'t have any curly styles.
I haven\'t really played the game much yet, as I have been too busy playing around with create a sim.
Also haven\'t used any of my bonus points in The Store. Things look quite expensive. Is great that you can pick and choose items you like, instead of stuff pack with some content you probably dont want. But the points of an item need to be much cheaper. I am holding on to my points in the hope they release some new hairstyles.
Will update more when I get playing the game.
