Look for the White & Green Series, coming soon.
I\'m currently working on a new home and I really really like it. Although it sucks that people will take from others and upload content like they made it, it\'s also bad to make something and be the only person to ever use it.
It\'s like writing a book that no one will read.
A few simmers saw pictures of my first home and wanted it. Why should they miss out because of a handful of jerks or simmers who don\'t think about how the original artist feels about their content being on their page without any credits?
So I think I\'ll put my other house back and upload others as I make them. Yeah, some will upload it to their page without crediting the original artist or even take credit for creating it, but others will get to enjoy the homes anyway.
Although, it might be awhile before I actually upload. I\'m making a series of homes and I have to play-test them.
At first blush it doesn\'t seem like a big deal. It\'s just a house for a game, but that virtual house represent hours or even days of someone laboring over it. Time they won\'t get back. So to see someone take something in a few minutes that took hours or days to make, and front it as their own, or not credit the artist, well, it\'s a bit galling.
Support your fellow simmers by reporting plagiarized content. Even if EA isn\'t proactive against the act, at least they will know how the community feels about it.
The simple rule is \"if you don\'t want your hard work stolen, don\'t upload it.\" So that\'s what I\'ll do.
I made it specifically for the 500 Sunny Side Blvd lot that overlooks the ocean. You can find a more information and pics on this thread.

It\'s a remake of a TS2 home, but with some slight changes. I am so impressed with create-a-style. It is simply awesome to put what finishes I want on furniture, build objects, and walls.
I will never want to build In The Sims 2 again.
TS3 installed automatically, but it took about 20-25 minutes to do it. :P
I redeemed some Smpoints. I\'ll redeem my other discounted Sims cards later. Now I\'m about to load up the game and explore CAS. I need to get to work on my Avatar sim. Cya around later.
This makes the store a little more practical in my opinion. I\'ve decided not to get the Collector\'s Edition of The Sims 3. I will get the standard edition instead. I used the $20 to buy 4 SimPoint cars. So when I register my game, I should have 5000 simpoints, including the free 1000 points we get for registering the game.
I already know what I want to get: My Store Stuff!
I should have about 1900 points left over. I\'ll save them for any future items that may appear in the store.
This is all more valuable and useful than that USB Plumb bob thumb drive. And since we only have the base game and no CC at the moments, I think I will really enjoy my purchases.
Will I use The Sims 3 store after I use up all my points? Only if I get a good deal on more SimPoint cards.
