It seems that EA has decided to cram their STUPID social features down my throat whether I want them or not. With the release of \"Showtime\" (or possibly sooner knowing them) EA will be replacing our beautiful, functional and customizible Pages with a knock-off Facebook version.
Needless to say, I HATE it. This was the one thing on this site that EA gave us that I was truly grateful for--the ability to reflect our personalities through our Pages. These new Pages are bland, impersonal and sterile. If I wanted to stare at an ugly wall of text and annoying clutter on my computer screen, I\'d go to Facebook.
I will be opting out--as much as EA will allow me to--from all \"sharing\" these new social features bring. It\'s sad, really. The Sims games used to be a nice little sandbox game that you could play and enjoy on your own. Now EA has turned it into an annoying, loud and crowded public beach...
