Lot De-scrip-tion: NEW - A lot better than that mess that was there before. Just happy I was able to upload it. There is no CC on this lot only recolors, however it uses a ton of EP/SP/Store content.
I've remodeled this house before just for fun. I hate that there are mostly 1br, 1ba houses in Lunar Lakes. However, the trick on this remodel is that we couldn't change the exterior walls or the roof... (only the materials on them). I did expand all of that on my last remodel. Since it had to be the exact same shell, I pretty much gutted the thing. I actually tried to free up space with the spiral staircase but my sim got stuck upstairs, so I just replaced the stairs.
Since this was Lunar Lakes, I went with hard surfaces (metals, rock & stone, concrete, and some brick) with a mixture of (wood, cork, and wicker). That "is" actually wicker on the outside of the house. Every inch of the house is custom colored except there is no metal around edging of the upper deck. The fencing was already in and it was too much to change after the fact. But you will see metal around all deck edging outside and anything inside is cork and wood. All the walls are concrete except for in the baths where I used tile. I believe the only brick I used was on the BBQ items. Oh and I did use metal ceiling tiles for anything that were above the deck and a custom wicker tile on the ceilings inside.
Heck even the towels in the bathrooms match, I'm just so... (word will be censored). I know I will go back and fix that dog-gone deck, eventually.
It was fun doing this remodel again as they aren't easy in Lunar Lakes. A lot of the ones that were posted (in the contest), I have already done and I didn't want a duplicate. And have fun with this house "if" you decide to download it. Oh and it's both zombie and paparazzi proof! However, you will get critters joining your simmie on the deck next to the entrance while they read the paper if you have Pets installed.
