My Midnight Hollow-sim - made for my kind friend, Lissy :)
Larger pictures are on my showcase.

Thanks so much for the kind comments and the recommends/favs/dls on my new sim for everyone who made it. :)

I think, I was lucky again to find the time to upload something when the exchange freezed or was very slow, probably this sim had not appeared there for hours (I'm not sure, I had to go to sleep, it was night here), but today morning it had 25 downloads, so this is all I can comfort myself with, if I don't want to think what I usually think, that only a few fanatic cc-free people need a no-cc-sim (or only those, who want to use and re-upload my work..., I found at least 8 re-uploads only this month, but probably there are more, but they removed my name...)
Sometimes - during the day -, the 'course of the nature was restored', and this sim got more downloads than recommends.  :?

I made this sim for a friend, and won't delete or re-upload it just to get more downloads or recommends, which are very nice and a great pleasure to see, but not the most important thing for me.

I noticed, that since EA promote sims4, the forums and the mypages are very slow and dead.
I wish they would wait with it a bit more. Everybody think of this game as already dead and past time. EA killed sims3 too early, although we don't know the exact date of the release of sims4, people trying to hold their breath till that.
These take away the joy of sharing creations, because I feel it a bit worthless, people not really interested in sims3.

Just an example: I spent about 8-9 hours creating the sim, making screenshots, choosing and editing the pictures and upload: it took me the whole afternoon and evening - from 3pm to about 11:30pm -, and had not stop there: then I uploaded the pictures, created blog- and forum-posts. And no matter how much time I spent with it, I won't write in the title or the text, that 'please, recommend', although recs makes me happy, but 'doesn't mean the world to me' ;)

I'm too tired of to see everybody wants custom content through the exchange, and rather download the same looking sims again and again only because of the hair and clothes. I don't want to participate in the popularity-race, but it just makes me sad and disappointed, that these numbers somehow suggest to me, that all my hard work was worthless.

I will finish my current build because it's a request-build, then I will turn into a player from creating, and still not decided if I will create and share my work with sims4, or will be a player only. So much joy and happiness with creating/sharing, but at least the same amount of bitterness.

I have less and less time to create - the number of my creations this year shows it perfectly, and next year I have to find a job, so who knows if I would have any free time for that.
I have less and less time to be active on the site, and people easily forget about the ones, who post only rarely. My page still open because of the few kind friends I have.
I have only a few friends who comment on my showcase, so don't really know why I waste so much hours of work creating all those many pictures, the time-consuming editing work, and uploading them and creating the post with all the links also takes at least 1-2 hours too, so I have to spend 1-2 days only to make these.
It's the same with my blogger and with this EA-blog,  nobody interested in these, so another things which I do only for myself.

And because it's my rant-post, I'm also feel bad that I found a house on the exchange, where the creator used more of my colours, textures and even the same patterns...
That creator used the textures from the same lot of mine, so it's hard to think that it's a coincidence.
I spend much time to create something complex and unique, and people re-upload my work, people copy and modify my creations, and now simply use my personal design to make theirs.
I cannot decide that the problem is with me that I complain about it or it's not a big thing, but I've never thought of stealing others' design to make my work easier/faster.

First I wanted to write these on my showcase-thread, but then I changed my mind - I copied it here, where probably safe to think, that nobody will read it. I just wanted to write it out of me somewhere - sorry if someone wasted their times to read it all.
