I went in today for my MRI on my leg. That machine is seriously scary. I couldn\'t relax much because my legs were strapped down in an odd position and the leg being scanned was in a plastic boot thing, padded so I couldn\'t even wiggle my toes. My whole foot fell asleep because the scans took over an hour. It was pretty awful. And when I thought I was done, the radiologist had to inject the contrast stuff in my veins and take more scans. I am very glad to be back home.
I\'m also kind of bummed because I lost some weight but it seems I have also shrunk a little. I was 5\'5\" 1/2 most of my life, and now I am 5\'4\" 1/4 and its kind of worrying because I am only 29 and shouldn\'t be losing bone density that quickly. I am kind of hoping she measured me wrong because that\'s no good if I lost height already.
Anyhow, I am really happy people have been downloading my vampire sim - she\'s my absolute favorite sim and I am glad other people think she is neat. I am going to go play her in a minute, but wanted to vent a little about the day because I felt silly being so scared of that MRI machine, but after I was in it for about 30 min I couldn\'t keep track of time anymore and all I heard was the clicks and knocks and shaking it did while scanning even with the music they make you listen to. I don\'t know how I would manage if it was my head being scanned instead of my leg. I\'m not normally claustrophobic but that thing + being strapped down sure made me reconsider my viewpoint on that.

I got Late Night this morning. I ADORE IT. It is by far my favorite sims game. I love the clubs the vampires the celebrities, everything. I wish the EA Store ran smoother, but this is worth it. Grant, Sims 3 team, if you ever read this, I just want to say thanks for all your hard work. I love you guys and I love your game. I know a lot of hard work went into it and I am happy it came to fruition in such a marvelous way.

Well I am posting again because I am tired and bored but waiting for my son to get to sleep. :( I feel so bad for the little guy - he\'s so stuffy and he has a sore throat. I am going to have to get in there tomorrow and clean up his room and put a humidifier in there. Doubt he\'s going to school tomorrow the way he is tonight.
While I was waiting for news of my shipment today I tried to get a lot of housework done. Got 5 loads of laundry done (I HATE washing bedding.) and the dishes done and tried to clean up my computer room a little. This room gets really cramped because my husband\'s desk is kinda big, and he had this really big bookshelf in here when I moved in, and I got a new cage for my rats in here and its on the big side too. I am trying to find places for all the junk so I can make this room more breathable but its hard because my husband doesn\'t chip in very often and help. And I have no idea what to do with his junk. I can barely find places for all my stuff. I really need to organize all this garbage. :P
I am really happy my game will be here tomorrow. It makes me feel happy to know its on its way to me right now. I am rather sad that I am coming down with my son\'s cold though. But at least I will have a lot of things to keep me occupied.

OMGOMGOMG my game will be here tomorrow. They shipped it overnight via UPS and I finally have my tracking number. OMGOMG I am so excited I could squeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I don\'t know how I will last until tomorrow afternoon. So tomorrow I am getting Fable 3, Late Night and Sims 3 for Xbox 360. My husband was teasing me about getting so many games but I couldn\'t resist ordering the console Sims 3 too. I want to see it on my big HD TV and it seems so fun. And my husband is getting Rockband 3 and we decided to stay home for our anniversary. Going to be a long gaming filled weekend lol.
But I feel bad because my son is really sick with a cold and I am trying to get it it seems. But my poor little guy is coughing and crying because he feels awful. I wish I could make him feel better :( He may end up missing another day of school which is a bummer.

Well I finally CALLED EA again after another chat session where I was told my order hadn\'t shipped yet and that it was being sent 2 day shipping. The person I talked to was awesome and told me I could track it later with UPS and I will get the game tomorrow or even today. I am so happy to finally get a solid answer. :D My son is home sick from school today, and I am getting a cold so my sinuses are miserable.
I am really tired and wanted to take a nap but I don\'t like my son rattling around on his own so I am doing my best to stay awake. I have been doing laundry like a madwoman and am trying to get as much housework as I can done so I ca play unpestered tomorrow. I still have to get my laptop prepped for Late Night, because my game launcher is broken and errors if I use it without administrator privileges. But then I have to update my administrator account, I already deleted most of my old saves because they were corrupt or just barely usable because of freeze bugs and error 12s. But it takes a long time to transfer over all my downloaded Store files from my backup computer to my laptop so I have been lazy with it. I am intending to play on my PC first anyway so I can have my settings cranked all the way. xD

Well EA still hasn\'t shipped my game. It makes me so mad. I paid extra and I can\'t even get it early and may not even get it on Tuesday :P Yet someone in Canada is getting it Monday and has the UPS confirmation to prove it. I am never ordering from EA store again.
I called them Friday to see what was the problem and was told all was well, I would get it Tuesday. But its Saturday and it still hasn\'t been shipped, so I got on live chat and the guy first told me there was a payment problem, then told me all was well I *should* receive it Tuesday but if I didn\'t I could direct download it which I do not want to do. I am so annoyed I could spit because I paid $15 more for shipping and they can\'t even ship it out on time. Then again Amazon hasn\'t sent my orders either and I cannot even imagine why. The money is in the account, the bank said they haven\'t even tried to withdraw the money, so I guess they are overnighting it to me but its stupid because so many other people are already getting confirmations and they ordered after I did. I despise you so much right now, EA Store. I should have went with Gamestop. Next time, I will. They at least had the non-stupidity to mail Fable 3 a couple days before the release day to make sure I got it on time instead of giving me wild answers about my bank and finances and that I needed to reorder but oh maybe I don\'t and they don\'t know whats wrong.

Well WoW is broken because the patch made some people (me included) have a lot of crashes and disconnections. So I am going nuts wanting Sims. Thinking of going in and vanilla-ing my lots for upload and updating others. Wanting to make a city-ready consignment shop.
I caved and decided to order the Sims 3 for Xbox 360, even though it won\'t get played for a while after it arrives since so many things are coming that day. But it looked so tempting!

OMG Patches

Its Patch day for World of Warcraft. I am in a state of semi-hysteria that veers wildly between panic and hysterical excitement. Everything about something I really like is changing and I want to get right in and get stuff done. Yet...I am terrified of changes and almost want to avoid it all together.
Add to that the fact I am getting sick and want to be playing something since Gothic 3 isn\'t running on my computer because I get a stupid error message, and its raining and I have already read 2 books this morning.
My sims 3 games keep getting this obnoxious freezing bug they can\'t recover from, so I am not sure what to do. :( I already am doing laundry, I will do the dishes soon I suppose because I am that bored.
Add to that the fact I am getting sick and want to be playing something since Gothic 3 isn\'t running on my computer because I get a stupid error message, and its raining and I have already read 2 books this morning.

So October has arrived and I am utterly psyched. BUT I feel so overwhelmed already! It seems there is a lot to do and I feel pressed to start. I just purchased ArcaniA Gothic 4 on Steam - it releases the 12th on Steam - but the 12th is also the rumored day for WoW to be patched to 4.0.1...the official pre-Cataclysm patch. With that patch comes a ton of quests to do to herald the changing of the WoW world. I am super excited yet also terrified of change. I also sort of unofficially changed my main to my hunter which makes me feel slightly guilty about ditching my poor druid. But the hunter is so fun to play.
So the patch will be playable for me probably by Wed, and Gothic 4 maybe by Tues evening. Then on Thursday I am seeing a doctor again for x-rays and more information on the swelling on my Achilles tendon.
I also went in to the dentist last week for the first time in 7 years (I have kind of a phobia about the dentist) and surprisingly only have 1 cavity and 2 fillings that need to be replaced because they are silver and its corroding - I think I got those fillings when I was in middle school. So I have the appointment to get those done on the 21st. Then Sims 3 Late Night is releasing the 26th, and I am getting Fable 3 and Rockband 3 also. So I will have WoW to play first and foremost because I want to finish all the event quests and also will have Fable 3, Sims 3 Late Night, Rockband 3 and Gothic 4 to play, not to mention we just got Deadrising 2 and my Gothic 4 purchase came with Gothic 3. xD I am going to be in gamer overload but its going to be heavenly. Gonna have to buy easy-to-make dinners and lots and lots of soda and coffee.
