New custom content-free files
POSTED ON 09/29/10
As I promised, I started to upload my files without custom content. Thanks to Alexurt1 for the helpful information of the MTS-program, it\'s easier now to check my files. Of course, there are a lot of files in my studio, which have no CC at all. I\'ll post their pictures here soon. I will try to change the custom patterns to a similar one to save the look a little.

First uploaded custom content-free lot is Orient, (has only one custom pattern before), other items are the same. I used some items from the Asian fusion set, and tried to replace the missing ones with the most similar furniture. I made a kitchen recolour, too. Enjoy! :)

Dear Alexis!
Thank you very much, with my all heart!
You can always surprise me, and it was a sudden (evil ) thing... lol! I\'ve just collected some stuff - about 2-3 hours ago, for myself only - to see, what I like in the store, then my son needs me, and I had to go. I didn\'t expected that somebody will take a look on my page in this short time, and what is more, send me something from it. But you don\'t really need items on a wishlist - as I see Those were another great surprise and wonderful gifts for me. Thank you again!
I wish you shiny beautiful days!
Thank you thread! :)

I\'ve already posted it to Alexurt1\'s gifting thread, also to my thank-you-thread, but I\'d like to post this message here, too:

Dear Alexis!
Just sitting here, and I\'m almost speechless... What can I write to tell you what I feel - my English is not good enough to do this. I wish I can give you something to thank you. I would bake you cookies or send you flowers - if we live nearer.
So I send you these cookie-flowers:

Thank you so much for gifting me everything on my wishlist! It\'s an incredible kindness of you, and I\'m so happy and thankful!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :)
Have a wonderful day/week/month/year/life!

I\'m working on a lot with your formerly gifted Hacienda Luxury, I will dedicate it for you. Here\'re 2 pictures, I will upload it when finished.

My thoughts
POSTED ON 09/24/10
I wrote it after a lot of people were going mad of Barnacle Bay on the forum, and wanted to save it for myself. (Have to cut for pieces because of the limit.) :

Sorry for the long post, I hope it won\'t be boring, but I always wanted to tell what I feel about this store and gifting-theme.
I hope I didn\'t make too much mistake (it\'s 3 a.m. here and please forgive my poor English, sometimes I have to use vocabulary, and hope I found the right words).
I wish that beggars would read this, as all this thread - but I\'m afraid, they won\'t...

I also bought every SP/EP in sims2/3 (I have 2 copies of Xmas-SP because of the +40 items... lol ), because I really want to have all official items I can get in my game - still the store-thing came... because I cannot buy points via internet. I\'m so thankful to every kind gifters who sent me anything! I didn\'t ask for them, I thought that the wishlisht is for collecting stuff which I like, and I would buy, when I can in the future - if there will be any other way to buy simpoints. It was a great surprise for me, when I got gifted. Every time I was so happy and thankful, and wish a way to tell thank you to them. I recommend their entire studio, and hope they liked something in mine for their game, so I can give something back to them with my creations, I spent hours(sims), weeks/months (lots).

Later I started to read the forum, and posted here and there.
I saw Alexurt\'s thread in august, but first I didn\'t want to post my wishlist, because I cannot gift her back. Then made a try, and I was so happy and thankful, when I got my first 100 points gift from her - I was nearly passed out - she is so generous!
I post there my WL only once again some weeks later, when she re-opened her thread, and she sent me a 75 points gift. As I said, she is so generous - but we all know that well.
At this point I decided, that I\'ll never asking for a gift again on her thread.
I\'m usually a gifter-type person, so I feel really uncomfortable that I cannot give back anything for someone\'s kindness.
I dedicated my creations to her to say thanks for her kindness on this way too.
And try to use all of gifts to help others with ingame screenshots on MrHawks Simalogue-blog.
(If you\'re around these forum sections - you can see, that I don\'t post my WL to gifting threads: I asked for 2 DrPepper codes only, and I posted my WL only 2 times to other threads - I hadn\'t gifted, but it\'s OK, there are a lot of people around.)

As I see, the \"gifting front\" was breaked through when she wrote at her thread, that everyone can post their wishlist once a week. So many people use this possibility, but this is Alexis\'s choice.

Since then I got a lot of things from Alexis, they were all great surprises for me every time, thanked them with all of my heart. Once she sent me a gift again after my thank-you post, she is beyond belief! ... 2 days ago she cleared my whole whislist... When I saw (and now again) I had tears in my eyes, and don\'t know how to thank her meetly this - as for all of other generous and kind gifters, who sent me anything. Nicjamez was so kind to help me with a lot of DD\'s, also with sets - how can I say enough thank-you\'s? Just wrote to a thread when I wanted to help to somebody with ingame screenshots, that I cannot help with the other set, and Kerby sent me that nearly immediately! Some days before that Kerby also sent me an other kind gift with the message \"just cause\". Mrsdennym sent me a gift just to ask me: how are you? when she saw my thank-you-post on Alexurt\'s thread - that really warms my heart! MrHawk, who was kind to find my screenshots good enough to publish them on his wonderful site - and what is more, he sent me gifts to say thanks! Unbelievable! Connash667, who surprise everybody with great gifts without any word - I hope she read all thank you\'s on the forum at least. - I can keep going the line, and this is only my story.

I don\'t know so generous people like they in real life neither! They don\'t know me nearly at all - just read some words from (and maybe about) me, and they decided to delight me with those gifts, which costs real money they earned with hard work. I work too, I know this - Alexis spending daily(!) more than half of the amount I earn in a whole month! How can I give back ever what I got from her or from others? They would spend it for themself in real life. But they are selfless and generous to others here - instead.

My thoughts

(2nd part)

The other thing: as I see, many people forget what is a game about.
This is more about money than sims2, and people feel they game is incomplete, because they see the nice store stuff. EA boost this with offering sims2 game sets in the sims3-store, and with so much better content than they offer in the game/EPs/SPs, or things you cannot replace with game items (which option I always looking for) - for example some building items.
I also don\'t understand, why store stuff is so much more expensive than an SP?! (No, I don\'t want to pay more for an SP - of course!) An SP costs about 3000HUF here, and it\'s less than I would pay if I could buy 1000 simpoints with taxes and others. We get about 60-65 items in an SP (as somebody summarized it somewhere, not I did), but only 15-20 for 1000 simpoints.
That\'s inexplicable, because offering something online costs nothing for them - but publish an SP does.
If they would lower the prices in the store, they would earn more in long term, because more people would buy points.

Finally:
Of course, I also like BB, first I place it on my WL, because I put down my name on Alexurt\'s BB-thread, but I remove it in some minutes, because I would feel so bad if I would gifted again. (Not only from her, but from other kind people too.)
Of course, there are some other stuff in the store which I like, but didn\'t put on my \"most wanted\" wishlist. Maybe I would got it from her with those other stuff were on my WL, but I\'m not voracious. I don\'t want to own the whole store, I just would like what I really would use in my game. I feel these are too much even so.
And I won\'t place anything on my whishlist for awhile, because I nearly feel ashamed for those many things I got gifted. I wish I can buy simpoints card here soon, then my first do is to sending gifts to my friends, I hope it will soften this feeling.

Thank you for reading my thoughts.
Have a nice day all!\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Store sets showrooms
POSTED ON 09/13/10
Let me say huge thanks to kind and generous friends who gifted me some sets. :)
I\'d like to give something back to the sims-community, so I try to help others who want to buy sets in the store, but want to see those items in the game before buying.
I will create showrooms of the sets I own, screenshots of them will be published on MrHawk\'s Simalogue-blog. I\'m really glad that he found them good enough to publish them on the site.
Finished sets are:

Zen Again (already published with the title: Modern Japan)

Asian Fusion:

Lunar New Year:

Asian Fusion\'s screenshots were made in my formerly created Orient-lot, which has only a few set-items originally, and really pretty without them too, because I tried to find similar furniture to made up for the store-items. And what is more: I created an asian kitchen to complete the \"set\".
I\'m planning to update this lot with the whole set in the near future.

Fast Lane

Yesterday I installed the new stuff pack, and took a look at the new things in the game. I like sofas and armchair, barstool, the female clothes, and - a little bit funny, that I think - the best items in this SP are the female shoes :D OK - I\'m a girl, and I like to create sims, build and decorate lots.

I hope that Late Night will give us much more gorgeous stuff. I wish longer hairstyles, party dresses, pretty shoes, more and better make ups (lipstick and blush).
