Finally the Bayside set has been put on SALE!!!! It\'s the Daily Deal today for only 800 points! I\'ve wanted the whole set for sooooo long. Does the happy dance.
Can\'t wait to see what new stuff they add to the store.
LOL, EA announced a new world that will be put up in the store, Barnacle Bay. A lot of people are in an uproar that it isn\'t free and that it costs to much, but as far as I read on this website they have not said how much it\'s going to cost. Honestly can\'t take all this complaining about the new SP, EP and now new world. Like others have said on the forum, then don\'t buy it. Off to play my game.
Happy Simming All!
Missed all the forum drama today 8/29/10, some inappropriate pics were being posted by some nefarious character who is posting anonymously.
Real Life has kept me busy and I have only been on the forum intermittently, especially the two forums where this person was posting his/her pics. So I guess I\'m lucky not to be offended by these pics. Others did not fair so well and had their eyes blinded by these pic\'s. Well I\'m sure the damage isn\'t permanent.
Have you ever read some of the off-site blogs and web sites (oy vey)? Seems some people revel in all the drama and really are instigating some of what goes on here...I just try to stay out of it all. I\'m here because I like this game and like seeing what other people are doing in their games and creating.
Well I\'m off to play my game while the boring Emmy\'s are being given out. I thought Jimmy Fallon would be funnier...yawwwn.
Happy Simming All!
Don\'t know why I got the urge to play my Sim City 4 game, but I put it in the other day. It was fun watching my cities grow. Not sure why I didn\'t feel like playing my TS3 games, especially since I haven\'t played in awhile. When I was playing TS2 I never once thought about playing my Sim City game, makes me wonder what TS2 had that TS3 doesn\'t. Maybe because when I started playing TS2 it had been out for awhile and I was able to buy more expansion packs right away. This is my first experience starting out with a game that is brand new and having to wait for the EP/SP\'s. So yeah maybe when TS3 gets more EP\'s I will enjoy this game more. I know I miss some of the crazy things my Sims used to do in TS2, somehow the Sims in TS3 seem more dull. Phooey!
Happy Simming!
For the Freezer Bunny Badge! Love bunnies!
Well I just got in from out of town this morning. It was an unplanned trip so I didn\'t think to write in my blog that I wouldn\'t be on the forum for awhile. I don\'t have a laptop and even if I did, it would be rude to chat on line when I\'m supposed to be visiting my family. I also didn\'t really think anyone would notice if I wasn\'t posting on the forum, LOL.
So anyway, I\'m back and I will be trying to catch up on my stories. Some of the stories are off site and I don\'t have an account so I don\'t comment there anyway.
Well I missed playing my Sims too. So I\'m off to read some stories.
Happy Simming!

Yes, it\'s August and the Dog Days of Summer will be coming to an end. It\'s been a really sultry summer, well at least by me. It will almost be a relief to feel the blustery cooler air of Fall, which is just around the corner. For now it\'s still being forecast that it will be in the high 80\'s or 90\'s this week, so I don\'t think we will be feeling those cooler breezes anytime soon.
Although Fall is my favorite season by far, it also brings with it a feeling of melancholy. Which springs from my childhood days of enjoying the summer days, then to have them abruptly end as September rolled in and I was thrown back into the old grind of going back to school. Leaving my friends and going back to the strictness of parochial school, which most of my friends did not attend. Although those days have long since passed, oddly that feeling of loss has never left me throughout my adult life. Sigh...
