Logan achieved his dream of becoming an Illustrious Author, and was promoted to Police Sketch Artist. His head swelled with success, he decided to buy a small house and maybe start a family of his own someday.
Andrea is now pregnant with her third child, and now has her boyfriend, Clay Kennedy, living with her. Andrea is extremely close to mastering both Gardening and Writing. Her sister, Gretchen, has almost mastered the Painting skill.
Clay, already having skill with Guitar and Charisma, has joined the Music career path as a Roadie. Clay is a Brave, Great Kisser who can be quite Clumsy. He sometimes comes across as a Snob, but he really just has Commitment Issues.
Andrea\'s first child, Sean, was born a Neurotic Genius, and developed a Good Sense of Humour. He just had a birthday, and is now a Child.
Andrea\'s second child, Hannah, is the chosen heir. She was born with the Virtuoso and Genius traits. She is currently a toddler, but is anxiously awaiting her birthday in a few days.
Connor has achieved his lifetime wish of Professional Author. He has written 21 books (mostly Satire), 7 of them were Hits, and 6 Best Sellers. He is a Star News Anchor with no plans to retire.
The family owns the local Bistro and has renamed it to Derdell\'s Bistro. The Derdell\'s are partners in the following businesses:
EverFresh Delights Supermarket, Divisadero Budget Books, Sharma Day Spa, Outstanding Citizen Warehouse Corp..
Logan is a Lieutenant in the Police force, but he dreams of adventure. When he\'s not at work, he\'s been writing children\'s books, one of them a Best Seller. He has almost completed his lifetime wish of being an Illustrious Author, at which point he will likely leave home and wander out into the wilderness. (aka: I\'ll kick him out!)
Andrea met a lovely young man, Clay Kennedy, the day after her Young Adult birthday (when she developed the Hydrophobic trait). After a short romance, she is now expecting her first child. When she is not learning the Gardening skill so she can take over the family garden, she writes Trashy novels, 2 of them were Best Sellers. Her lifetime wish is to be a Renaissance Sim, having mastered Writing, Guitar, and Gardening.
Gretchen is now a Teen, having developed the Unlucky and Coward traits. She spends most of her time Painting, hoping to be good enough to capture the portrait of Andrea\'s heir one day.
Logan has already mastered the Painting skill, and is quite good at Writing. In addition to Loving the Outdoors and being Insane, Logan is also a Loner, a Kleptomaniac, and Unlucky. Considering all of this, he seems surprisingly well adjusted, spending a good portion of his time taking care of his little sisters. One day he hopes to be a Police Sketch Artist.
Andrea is the chosen heir. She is very good at both Writing and Logic, but is concentrating on writing Drama novels at the moment. She was born with the Virtuoso and Couch Potato traits, and developed Never Nude and Evil along the way. She is looking forward to learning the Guitar skill once she\'s done writing her current novel.
Gretchen is the newest addition to the family. She was born a Clumsy Genius, and seems to enjoy playing the Xylophone.

I bought a small empty parcel (18 Maywood Lane), and built Lisa a modest house (1bed/1bath).
On her first day in town, she went to the grocery store to buy some veggies to plant in her garden. Little did she know, she would also end up meeting her soul mate, Connor Frio. Lisa found out that Connor is a Bookworm, Absent-Minded (aren\'t we all?), and Good.They chatted for several hours outside the store before she invited him to move in, and he accepted!
Connor was a good catch! He already had some skill with gardening and writing, and had a full time job in journalism! Unfortunately upon moving in, we found out that Connor is also a Loner and Unflirty. This will be a challenge indeed! He loves classical music, fish and chips, and the colour grey.
Over the next several days, they built their relationship until Connor felt comfortable enough to accept the \"Try for Baby\" action.
Connor has been working extra hard at work, now that there\'s a baby coming, and has been promoted to Freelance Writer! Lisa spent her pregnancy gardening and tinkering with the toilet. She gave birth to a bouncing baby boy named Logan Derdell. She didn\'t have a terribly happy pregnancy, so Logan was born with the Loves the Outdoors trait, and the random button selected Insane as the other trait.
This will be fun.
These are the rules I am using:
No cheating. Plain and simple, no money or mood cheats. You may\r\nuse custom objects, as long as their price and mood effects are in line\r\nwith similar \u2018official\u2019 objects. Objects purchased from the Sim Store\r\nare considered \'official\' as well as the ones included with the game.
You are a llowed to choose the traits for the single sim created to start the game, but everything else must remain random.
You are allowed to start on any plot of land affordable with the default starting cash.
Aging and story progression must be on and lifespans set to the normal level. \r\n
The Legacy family must be the \u201CActive Household\u201D during the\r\nentire challenge. You may never switch the active household to another\r\nfamily. If you want to take a break from Legacy play, it is recommended\r\nyou play in another saved game slot.
No Ambrosia! Your sims may learn the recipe for Ambrosia, but\r\nmay not cook or consume the dish. Nor may ambrosia be used to resurrect\r\nghosts.
You may not ressurect dead sims via the Science lab.\r\n
Sims may not consume life fruit to gain extra days to their lifespan.
\r\n You may age sims up via the birthday cake only once the game\r\nprompts you with a reminder of their impending birthday, not earlier.\r\nYou do not have to use the birthday cake to age sims up, you can wait\r\nfor the game to force the age transition if you wish.
You should not marry rich if at all possible.
Your main sim throughout bloodline must never have a job. It is therefore very important to find a way to make income right away (hobby, spouse\'s job, etc).
You must have a portrait of each main sim during their ADULT years.
You must retain possession of each main sim\'s corpse. You may have a family graveyard in your back yard, display the urns in your home, or keep them in your inventory, but each generation\'s heir must be present.
If you move someone out of the house, you must buy them a different house to live in. If you cannot afford to buy them a house, you must keep them in your current household, until you can find a way to move them out using the storyline (marriage, etc.). If you need to Kick Out a sim, you must account for this in storyline somehow (ie: Logan wanted to go plant trees for a few years).
