Haven\'t had much time to actually play my original family \"The Frio\'s\".  Had to make a new family for a friend and she wanted to have the perfect guy!  So we have been playing her Moore family.  They are progressing nicely and I know I will have to give her updates soon on how she is doing...ha-haa!

I also have been spending a LOT of time on the forum.  There is so much information I\'m finding out about the game.  I never did buy the Prima Guide, besides everyone says it is riddled with mis-information!  The posts certainly have been entertaining.  Everyone is so passionate about their game play.  Although there certainly are a lot of threads that are off topic, but so humorous.  I can\'t seem to tear myself away from reading them, it\'s like watching a bad crash or scary movie.  You just have to keep watching even if it upsets or scares you.  In fact that\'s what I\'ve been doing all day.  I was going to play my game or try to improve my avatar, but once I started to read the forum...bamm I was hooked.  I only stopped right now because I don\'t know if it\'s the forum or my computer, but I was having trouble with the forum not bringing up new posts.  So I will try the forum again to see if it\'s working better.  If not, I\'m off to play my game.

Haven\'t had  chance to update my Frio family.  I did play a little after the last update, but haven\'t gotten around to writing about it.

RL chores and company for awhile.  Also I\'ve been trying out the CAS.  I\'ve been sharing some of my Sims and now I seem addicted to trying to make my perfect simself and of course the perfect guy!  Well off to CAS now!

OK, just want to make a correction on the third prospect for a boyfriend from my last post, he was Thorton Wolff (not Hank Goddard), who is married to a woman named Morganna (sp?).  Who I ended up seeing at the Graveyard with his wife getting all cozy and smooching on a bench.  I zoomed in and still didn\'t see a wedding band. They have the house off the beach next to the Graveyard, umm or where ever. I didn\'t bother talking to him since I decided (even though he is rich) he wasn\'t in the running for her soul mate since he was married.

I made my decision that Jared Frio would be her \"soul mate\"  since she rolled a want of marrying him. I invited him over and he actually started flirting with her right away. He also asked her to woo-hoo.  I took it as a good sign that the relationship might work and if his bad traits started to cause problems I would change them. So I proposed  engagement afterwards.  It\'s kinda cute now that they have stages in their relationships now:   boyfriend, fiance, wife and husband.  Oh I should mention after she proposed engagement before she could ask him to spend the night, he left (hee-hee).  So I invited him back the next day and they had a private wedding.

OK now I see his history of friends and simbology.  He has an ex-girlfriend who he apparently got pregnant because I see he has a baby daughter in his family tree.  Arrrrrgh!  So I\'m not sure if I should try to get him to know his daughter or not, oh decisions, decisions.  So much Drama!  He of course doesn\'t have a good relationship with his ex, it shows in the red.  I check her picture in his friends list and it shows one of her traits as hot headed, ugh. How the heck did they every manage to become romantic with their combined traits (He doesn\'t list all her traits) and have a child???!!!!

After a few Sim weeks of being married he rolls he wants to have a child with his new wife!  She hasn\'t had the same want yet, hmmmm?  I think I\'ll wait before they have a child.  I want his career to progress further he\'s at level 4 on the culinary career.  I decided to get rid of his mean spirited and inappropriate traits since I was having trouble getting his mood in the green to get his next promotion, he rolls he wants to be friends with someone, but he also rolls he wants to insult the same person, geez!  I let him insult a few strangers (ha-haa), but I just can\'t get his mood in the green.  He\'s been sweet to his wife and hasn\'t insulted her once.  But since it\'s causing trouble with his career  I decided a change was necessary.  I matched the great kisser with his wife and uh oh I can\'t remember the other one and I didn\'t write it down, will have to update that later.

Oh and the wedding bands...my Sims are wearing them, they often hold their hand out to gaze at them lovingly (hee-hee).  The only thing is they are not gold bands they are blue.  I see a stone in them and it is blue also, so maybe sapphire?  I wonder if they will change for each Sim year they are married and eventually turn to gold...that would be nice.

Well that\'s as far as I am in my game.

So the past few days I\'ve been concentrating playing a Sim I made and it is progressing pretty well. I gave her the traits of frugal, good sense of humor, natural cook, friendly and great kisser. I didn\'t make my simself for fear of killing myself off  because the game is so new and I didn\'t know what to expect. Although I did base some of her traits after myself.

I actually got her to her lifetime want  of Five Star Chef (or whatever it\'s called now), that was really fun. She also wanted to grow her own ingredients for every new recipe she learned. So she has quite the \"green thumb\" now.

However, her love life is certainly lacking.  She finally had 2 prospects.  Apparently since she is a great kisser she kinda tries to kiss the boys alot and gets turned down (a lot).  But anyway, 1 guy she kissed up on was Jared Frio and he seemed to like her pretty well and she has a romantic interest in him now,  they are co-workers.  I did invite him to spend the night, but apparently he wasn\'t ready for any woo hoo business and got out of the double bed and went to the spare bedroom to sleep.  I did initially find out 3 traits right away, he is a heavy sleeper, party animal and natural cook.  So I thought he was going to be perfect.  Except I did notice when she was cooking dinner for them he was in the dining room just grumbling to himself....so I was like uh ooh...what\'s up with that.  I thought please don\'t make him insane or neurotic, lol. So I did finally learn his other 2 traits mean spirited and inappropriate.  That explains the fights he picked with her on later sleepovers.  So now I\'m not sure if I should drop him, it might be interesting to see what happens (muahaha).

Her other romantic interest happened at the beach.  I was having her collect items like rocks, bugs, etc....then she kinda walked off on her own and I hovered over her action and she wanted to give a friendly greeting to CYcl0n3 Sw0rd, the traits she found out about him were genius, computer whiz, couch potato and he\'s rich.  I have free will set to High so I let her go at it and sure enough they were kissing and she came up with a romantic interest with him.  So she invited him over for a few sleep overs (no WOO-HOO).  He\'s a little Odd?  I was getting frustrated that I couldn\'t get the other traits revealed on him so I was thinking of giving up on him too, when she rolled that she just wanted to be friends with him, so I thought OK, great.

Now she went to the grocery store and met another guy Hank Goddard, she seemed to like him so another sleep over, I can\'t remember if she got the heart showing romantic interest now, but his traits were schmoozer, charismatic, commitment issues, loves the outdoors and is rich. Later in the evening it was revealed he was married.  Geez, more wasted time. Not even a woo-hoo!  So I thought to myself I don\'t remember seeing a wedding band?  So I zoomed in on his hand and sure enough no wedding band!  So what\'s up with that?  I never checked the for a ring on the other guys who admitted right away to be in a committed relationship and turned down any flirtatious interaction.  So now it\'s all sneaky!

I did go on the Forum to check for a post about no wedding ring, but I never found one.  There were posts about how hard it was to get relationships more serious.  I saw a lot of posts that they had the guy/girl they were interested in to break off whatever relationship they were in, but I don\'t want to make any enemies.

Well I\'m off to play my game and see where it takes me.
