OMG, Ambtions so far is so much fun!!!!!  I didn\'t have a lot of time to play, I have company that came in for the Holiday weekend, but they didn\'t arrive until evening and I managed to play before they got in last night. Let me post some pic\'s before I have to go, company will be here all weekend and I won\'t get to play my game too much or come on this site, but then I can\'t post over here on the forum. ;(

Yipppeeee!  Yes, the UPS man knocked on my door about 1030 a.m. central time and I rushed up here to log in to the site to see if anyone else has gotten their game and just my luck I can\'t see the threads whether I\'m logged in or not. :(  I wanted to check if the patch is available that they said was coming with the game.  I guess I\'ll try installing the game and hope for the best.

OK, I decided to try Firefox and now I can read the threads, but I still cannot see the forum if I log into the site.  So I will have to be content to lurk!

Gee...I tried to check the forum at 4:30 a.m. (central time for me) and it said it was down for maintenance.  I didn\'t see any new messages on my page that said they were taking the site down.  So I figured I would try back in a few and it\'s still down and it\'s 6:44 a.m. now.  I guess it\'s going to be one of those days.O~o

Had a bout of insomnia last night so I was on another Sim site that I post at and thought I would check out what was going on over there...apparently all heck broke loose and the crying n screaming,  so much drama...and for a minute I thought I was on the EA forum! LOL

The site owner is a incredible person and had the issue resolved within hours.  I felt so bad for him and by the time I was reading all the threads, it was all over (well it was 3 am).  So all is well for awhile, I guess.  I\'m not really worried about it, I don\'t really post much over there anymore because of some of the...ahem odd rules.  I\'m pretty invisible over there even when I post, so I don\'t really think anyone notices or cares if I post...Gee kinda like my posting on this site.

Yes, it is soooo HOT out today!It\'s 90 degrees out, but with the 47% humidity it feels like 93...  So I guess it\'s safe to say summer has finally found the Midwest.  I know Summer doesn\'t officially start until June, but I think mother nature thinks otherwise.

Just got home from all my errands and I didn\'t turn on the air before I left and my loft is like 88 degrees, my first floor stays cool if I leave the windows open upstairs, so it\'s 75 degrees downstairs.  Unfortunately, my computer is on the 2ND floor in the loft area so I am melting right about now.  I did turn the air conditioning on after I got home, but it will take awhile before the 2ND floor cools down.  I have the fan on to circulate the hot air up here hoping it helps cool down the loft faster, but really don\'t know if it helps at all.

It\'s to hot to stay up here so I guess I\'ll check the forum later.

OMG, I just remembered it\'s the Lost series finale...so I guess I won\'t be back for awhile!  It starts at 6 p.m. central and it\'s almost 5:30 p.m. now!  I have to find out what happens to Jack!  I   JACK, but Sawyer is certainly easy on the eyes...lucky Kate!

I couldn\'t get on this site earlier this morning, but finally able to see my page.  I still can\'t get to the forum. :(  They updated the home page with two new announcements, usually after they make a change I have trouble with the site.  Oh well, not a big deal.  I just wanted to check some of the stories I read.  I\'ll try the forum again after I post this blog entry. :)

Is my featured member badge?  Seems like if you are getting featured now, you get your badge right away and any that you were owed.  Which is good, doesn\'t add to the backlog of people who still haven\'t received their badges yet.  I\'ve tried to be patient and I know they are working on the exchange trouble and gosh knows what else...sigh, but if I have to wait til I\'m featured again, Gaaah that might be forever...I was lucky to get featured once, who knows if lighting will ever strike me again, LOL.  Oh well, nothing much I can do, but wait. O~o

Thank you Seaweedy for the top.  I appreciate the gift, but just so you know I didn\'t send you a gift so you would send me one too...I sent you a gift because your story is really good and I wanted to encourage you to keep writing.   

I guess if anyone ever gets a gift from me and doesn\'t have any points to spend, just visit my studio and give me a few recommends.

I certainly have a long way to go before I can ever earn the next rec badge ( if ever).

Wish my game would let me build homes.  It crashes when I even try to put a wall down.  I\'ve always had a problem in CAS and Build/Buy mode since the start, if I spent too much time in either (especially Build mode), my game would crash.  It really got impossible to build after HEL\'s SP.  That\'s when I couldn\'t really build at all and if I spent too much time recoloring the game would crash.  I was hoping to get better at building with TS3, but I guess not anytime soon. :( 

I am looking forward to Ambitions (which is just around the corner), but I\'m dreading what it will do to my computer.  I don\'t even bother sending my Sims to other countries since the game will crash (especially France) when I go to some of the bigger lots.  So I end up just sending my Sim home because I get tired of starting over and over.  I really hope I can play Ambitions, it sounds like it going to be sooo much fun.  If it makes my game crash more, then this will be the last EP I will buy. :(  I was really hoping to buy this whole series, like I did with TS2, but why should I keep spending my money on something I can\'t play.  Well at least my pocket book will be happy, LOL.

Don\'t worry about not changing my hair...I understand and I won\'t be a big baby about it , LOL.  I just wish I thought to gift you the hair before I created the new simself for you.  Live and learn ...speaking of learning, use the mirror to change the appearance of a Sim when you are playing them in your game, it will take you to CAS so you can change the make-up or hair .

Back from the Dentist, love how my teeth feel after a good cleaning...shiny, sparkly lol.  Just my regular six month check up for the chompers (don\'t want false teeth, so gotta keep the pearly whites clean)! >.< 

I know this seems like an odd subject for a blog on a game website, but isn\'t this where we can be as off topic as we want to be?  Lord knows it seems as if  I veer OT one iota on the forum, threads seem to be deleted. XD  It\'s happened to me a few times, can\'t say I was the cause for all deletions...but somehow the last one...Ehhh whatever floats your boat. O.O   

I can talk Sims if you\'d like; I think we should have dentists in the Sims, after all if they are going let Sims have a hand saw to sculpt and needles for Tattoos and the Doctors giving shots, why not drills for a Dentist.  Could be funny, you could opt for a shot of novicane or some laughing gas.  The possabilities for things going wrong are endless.   

I notice not many people really blog on this site because they have outside blogs, but I have actually kept a journal since before I was a teen and that has been many, many, many, many years ago. Actually I still keep a journal, old habits die hard, well c\'mon doesn\'t everyone journal...LOL.

I acutally used a pen and a book to write my thoughts down.  Of course it was also very private and noone read my journals.  Blogging seems private when you are acutally typing up your thoughts, but really it\'s not since anyone in the world can read my ramblings.  Since I\'m basically a private person, I surprised myself when I started to blog here so publicly.  I guess I figure not many people really read the blogs and we don\'t really communicate to each  other one on one (well at least for me it isn\'t often).

All I can say is that I was glad I actually blogged so much , especially since they came out with a badge for being so bloggy (is that even a word ).   

I really love   my Blogmaster Badge.  I\'ve noticed other people are trying to start blogging which is great (more to read), but come on some people are just typing \"just want a badge\" repeatdly in their blog.

Yes, my flowers are blooming on my lilac shrubs. It\'s beautiful out today...Sunny and windy, I have my windows open and the lilac\'s fragrance is permeating through the whole house...mmm it smells so good.    Who needs artificial air fresheners when you have the real deal!  
  

Well I just got home and was doing some cleaning which um mm...brought me near my computer and I just couldn\'t resist checking in here...  
So I guess I need to go finish up my chores...I am expecting a friend to drop by later this evening, so I want to straighten the place up ...
