In addition to the other advice I gave in my last post, sometimes it's not anything wrong with anything at all. Sometimes TSR, especially if you download something as a sims3pack, botches up the download, and you'll end up with a dud file. :( When you put it into the Launcher, instead of seeing a proper thumbnail, all you'll see is a brown box--you'll know it when you see it: TRUST. ;) 9 times out of 10, if you try to install anything showing up as a brown box in the Launcher, the installation will FAIL. But don't despair! Just go back and try again--this time, try to dl the desired item as a ZIP file, NOT a sims3pack. Extract the ZIP file wherever you need it, and reinstall the sims3pack(s) within. This time, the installation SHOULD work. ;) This happens to me when I download things at LEAST twice a day, and dl-ing the file as ZIPs instead has ALWAYS worked for me. ;)

I have recieved a few complaints during my time here at TSR that my Lots fail to install with the Launcher. I find this very disturbing. I have had some people test my lots in-game with 100% success, so I know the files aren't BROKEN or anything, but when others tell me that they don't work, I get very confused.  As of November 2011 I only have the WORLD ADVENTURES, AMBITIONS and LATE NITE EPs, and NO SPs at all, so any lots of mine dated BEFORE November 2011 do NOT require ANY EPs or SPs. Therefore, the problem clearly lies with who has certain CC properly installed, and who doesn't. With lots made ater November 2011, you may need to update your game to the latest patch or game EP I have to get them to appear. As of March 2012 I am currently using Patch Update 1.29, so as to avoid all of the social crap nonsense going on with Showtime.

I feel like Tidus from Final Fantasy X--I've ended up on strange new shores after waking up in a Dream, and though I walk about and go through the motions I don't really exist here. Hera is my favorite deity, and dragons are my favorite beasts. So are unicorns. Naturally, Earth 2013 has nothing much to offer me. And so I play the Sims, to break away...

I'm terrified of people. There are people that don't want me around them. I can't trust anyone at all. Because I'm a loner, I don't need to socialize as much as other people and prefer spending time alone. I'm an artistic person. I'm a cat lover, a perfectionist, and a natural cook. I want everyone to stay away from me.

If you have anything to say to me, say it straight to my face. I don't want anyone talking about me behind my back. I love my cats. I don't want your drama so leave it at the door and go away. I'm really paranoid. I drive whenever I want. I don't want anyone dissing my movies, my favorite bands, my favorite actors, my favorite singers, my favorite movies, and my favorite TV shows.

If you have a problem with me, go away. I don't want to be around the people that I hate. Like I said, I don't want your drama so leave it at the door and go away. What I do doesn't concern you. What I order from Amazon and what I buy at the stores is none of your business. You're just walking trouble so stay out of it!

Meh, Nothing else to say about me...MUCH. I'm a hermit, and I hate going outside or looking at people or hearing a lot of noise, so I usually stay in my bedroom inside my apartment, permanently attached to the crummy laptop I spent way too much money on in my blind desperation for a need of a new computer. I love playing video games (obviously) as an escape mechanism, my Play Station 2 is one of my most valued possessions, and I'm especially into RPGs (Squaresoft, Namco, Square Enix, Niis, Konami, Midway, and Koei works are my favorites). Other than that, I write, read, knit, crochet, cook, smoke cigarettes, drink lots of caffeine and alcohol, and draw. And eat. Junk food. Lots of it.
