Hyde Park is home to a number of trees gifted to the town by various cities around the globe. The park originated as a tree nursery intented for selling exotic types of foliage but as the trees matured the owner thought this area would serve the town better as a place of rest instead. Samuel Hyde then gifted the park to the town where the local Parks and Recreation team took over, turning the once rigid planted area into a wonderland of leaves and relaxation.
