Valmont

Valmont is a moderately sized world that lies in the Braddock river valley. The world is split between two rival towns: Braddock Heights and Nettleton. Braddock Heights lies to the North of the river and was founded by Colt Dumont, a scheming businessman who was intent on making Braddock Heights the next big city. On the other hand, Nettleton was founded by Warren Barnes, a farmer who wanted to create a wholesome little farming town along the river. Dumont and Barnes became fast enemies, competing for land and sabotaging each other. Despite both having long since passed, Braddock Heights and Nettleton are still at odds with each other. Braddock Heights has transformed into a charming little town of culture and industry. Nettleton is a mishmash of farmers, small stores, and more recently, the military has become a popular option amongst the poor. Brick roads line the pristine river town of Braddock Heights. Sims enjoy all the job and entertainment opportunities offered by the bustling country town. Residents value their education and can often be found taking classes at the school, visiting the library and the bookstore, or enjoying the art gallery. The town also boasts City Hall and the best hospital in the area. Just outside of town lies the industry zone of Braddock Heights, where more opportunities might be found. Surrounding the town lies rolling private neighborhoods for families to live with plenty of access to parks and the pristine hills of Valmont. The dreary town of Nettleton barely seems to acknowledge the river that is so important to it. There is always plentiful parking if your sims must venture into town to visit the market, gym, or one of the bars. Just outside this gritty town lies the Valleyview mobile home park, where many workers must live. Outside of town, your sims can find plentiful farms and dive bars. The military base lies far outside of town and provides many residents with a future.
