Abilene Gentry was the middle child in between two brothers. She got tough in order to keep up with the boys. She is a smart, ambitious no nonsense gal although quite friendly whenyou get to know her. Her brothers and her had come to the "Valley" to care for their ailing mother. Their mother died soon after the explosions destroyed virtually everything due to the lack of medical care. Things quickly went beserk and her brothers died saving her.
