Built in 1830, `Etat de Plantation de Maddeaux housed Master Cyrus Maddeaux and his wife Madeline, but some thirty years later, the Maddeaux's disappeared without a trace, some say due to the practices that Cyrus learned in his world travels. The home has had many residents, but some never stayed too long and the others became permanent resdients in the cemetary.
