Simon was born on Osiris, a Core World planet, and grew up supporting Unification. He became an excellent tramua surgeon who was living the good life. But when he found out the Alliance was playing with his sister's brain, he dropped everything to rescue her and go on the run. They are now fugitives who have taken refuge on the ship Serenity. Simon has a place on the crew as their doctor and he is doing all he can to help his sister recover. Now if he could only take his eyes off Kaylee....
