Emmett McCarty was born in 1915 and the youngest of three. When he was 20 he went on a hunting trip that would prove to be deadly. Emmett got mauled by a bear, and during the attack a beautiful woman with hair of spun gold would intervene. Her name was Rosalie, and she would later become his wife. Emmett took on the protector role in the Cullen family. He follows Rosalie around everywhere as she is the great love of his life. And he often jokes around, but knows when to get serious.
