Shalonda loves Isaac--Valentine's give away entry
PUBLICADO EL 12/02/2010
Of all of my Sims, the second generation heir of my legacy and his spouse seemed to be the most in love with each other.  Isaac, the third son of Margie and Jebidiah Kendrick, was not the handsome one.  He wasn\'t even really the genius one (though all three of the boys had the genius trait).  Isaac was the crazy one.
From the moment he met Shalonda Chung at school, the two became inseparable.  Shalonda was not what anyone would consider a good looking girl.  She was chubby, for one thing and she was extremely poor.  She and her father lived alone in a grubby shack on the far side of the wrong side of the river in Riverview.

A loner, Shalonda was always surprised that Isaac, who was well-off and from one of the better neighborhoods, liked her.  As children he would come to her house to play.  Isaac found her little shack interesting.  She never felt ashamed of her lack of wealth when he was there.
As teens, Shalonda stayed plump.  Isaac never seemed to mind her extra flesh.  Shalonda squirreled away as much money as she could in order to buy herself one nice dress which she wore on every date they went on.  Isaac liked how the skirt cupped her ample behind.
As adults, Shalonda and Isaac got married.  She moved into his family\'s nice house.  His big family intimidated her, but Isaac tried to make her feel more comfortable.  It may have been a shock to everyone when Isaac invited Shalonda\'s father to live with them, but it wasn\'t a surprise to her.  Isaac knew that having her father around would make Shalonda happier about being surrounded by so many people.
Another thing Isaac did for her was give her a bit of land for a garden.  It was her little retreat from an endless succession of parties that always seemed to go on at the Kendrick house.

Though she didn\'t like them, the parties were sort of necessary.  Isaac was becoming quite a musician.  He had a rock image to promote.  Shalonda did her part by dressing more edgy than she was comfortable with.  When she was around all of Isaac\'s rock and roll buddies, Shalonda always felt like a fat frumpy wife.
But she was the fat frumpy wife that Isaac loved.  He never let his career interfere with their family life.  They had six children together.
Isaac\'s rock and roll lifestyle eventually caught up with him.  He died at the young age of 82.  Shalonda was never the same without him.   Her only solace was the nightly visitations of Isaac\'s ghost.  Shalonda lived a long time without her husband.  She died at 112.  Even before she died she seemed more like a ghost than a live woman.  The only people she interacted with were her grandchildren.  Every night she went to bed alone and waited for Isaac\'s spirit to join her.

Appropriately, Shalonda died in her garden.  Now, she and Isaac both haunt their descendants.  They will always be together.
