My love \'em and leave \'em sim has been trying and trying to kick out his latest girlfriend. He\'s done it countless times before so I don\'t understand why the problem now. I get to the point where it says \"Processing\" and it goes on and on and on until I have to ctrl alt del just to get out of the game. I\'ve gone back to try different things, even going to the Edit Town mode to split the family up, bu again it gets stuck in processing and again I have to ctrl alt del to get out.

Aaarrrgggh, fffttt!
The latest patch had, I thought, fixed the problem whereas the sims weren\'t given the option to ask someone to go steady or get married. One of my sims had the lifelong ambition to break ten people\'s hearts. He was going along well, was up to girlfriend #6, when suddenly the game went back to the way it was. He can flirt, kiss, gaze into someone\'s eyes, woohoo all he wants, but now he can\'t ask someone to be his steady.
\r\nEA, can\'t you get anything right??
While the latest patches have fixed the problem of Sims becoming partner and married couples, I\'ve encountered new glitches I hadn\'t encountered before. The game has crashed on me a couple of times and I\'ve had the problem of my people not being able to access what\'s in their inventory. If they pick up a book, a gem, or a plant, too bad. Can\'t use it or get rid of it.
\r\nMeanwhile, here are my top nectar recipes:
\r\n5 gralladina (or grall for short), 5 meloire grapes
\r\n7 pomelo, 3 flame fruit
\r\n4 grall, 4 avornalino (avor), 2 pomegranates
\r\n2 cherimola (cher), 4 meloire, 4 renoit
\r\n4 grall, 2 avor, 4 cherries
\r\n4 plum, 3 grall, 3 renoit

Since I discovered in the forum that you can combine different gems and metals, I\'ve been experimenting like crazy. Although my first test was rather disappointing. I put in the case several different gems, mostly smoky quartz, with one iron ingot to shake things up. I push the activate button and.... I get a lettuce seed. Sure, it\'s a nice lettuce seed, but still not worth all the money and trouble I put into this.
\r\nMy second experiment was more fruitful. (BTW, don\'t try fruit. It doesn\'t work.) Again I had a variety of gems, but they were all the same cut [plumbob], and this time the metal was slightly better, a silver ingot. This time around I got back a pile of ancient gold coins.
\r\nAt one point I came out with a bag of money but I can\'t recall now what combination I used. Another one I\'ll have to try again included mercury, gold, palladium, and something else (see how well I pay attention) and gave me back some kind of Superduperidium ingot. No, I can\'t remember the name. Oh yeah, maybe there was some plutonium thrown into the mix. Really need to pay attention and write this stuff down.
My adventurous Sim finally met up with a mummy and ... well, not much. Perhaps because my lil\' Indiana Jones was athletic and a black belt made a difference, but he simply grabbed the mummy\'s wrappings and unraveled the creature. End of story. Kinda disappointed.
