Thank you for sharing your prize with me SimmerwithSkill it was very sweet of you and a lovely gift. Thank you for the lovely gift anettesb. I loved the snowball and fortunately it is quite a nice cool summer\'s day so it has only slightly melted and after a bit of refreezing I should be able to send it back. Thank you both for the nice surprises it has put a big smile on my face.

I was playing sims after updating and was a bit disappointed and annoyed that the new patch didn\'t fix the clock freezing at 7:59am on weekdays in old saved games and my sims seemed a bit slower in doing things. Then I heard on the news that a fire down south a reasonable distance from where I live in Western Australia (that they had thought was under control) had become a lot worse due to a wind change. They think that some houses will be lost and have been warning people in that area if they haven\'t left that it is to late to leave. I really hope everybody there will be alright and it won\'t be to bad. It sort of make you think that a problem with a game isn\'t really that bad it just seems bad sometimes. I spent childhood summers not far from that area so I know it fairly well. We have had so much smoke where I am that I do worry how bad it is as we are quite a distance away. Update 2/12 due to the wind easing they were able to contain the fire just metres from homes. However there is still concern with wind picking up again today that it might get out of control again.

Summer

After the warmest Spring on record and more than a few really hot days. It is quite nice to have a much cooler day for the start of Summer. It would be nice if the rest of Summer was like this.
