My luck when it comes to the sims...
GEPOSTET AM 20/11/09
So I was playing Sims the other night and had my latest couple, Aimee and Ray Vynz. Aimee was a Rock Star and Ray was a Special Agent. I wanted them to have one son, who would be their one and only child. Aimee got pregnant and just my luck she had twin girls - Vanessa and Ren\u00E9. I immediately got Aimee pregnant again. While she was pregnant I went to go and play with her brother (Ethan) who I found out had a girlfriend (I had story progression enabled) - I thought I could marry them and they could have kids. I loaded his house to find that his girlfriend, their relationship was only a third of the meter, was like 2.5/3 days pregnant! Aimee\'s other brother, Devon who is currently living with Ethan, was in need of love. So I went out on a girlfriend hunt. I found a sim I had previously made named Colleen, she seemed perfect until I found she was already in a relationship with....LISA! I asked her to break it off with Lisa and now she is married to Devon. During this girlfriend hunt, stupid me forgot to turn off story progression so when I returned to play with Aimee I had found that she had giving birth to a boy, but his name was Courtney. I scurried to City Hall and changed it to Russell. Then checked the family tree and found that Ethan had a son named Marcus. \r\nIt was quite an eventual evening. \r\n=]
This new patch isn't working for me...
GEPOSTET AM 18/11/09
Many of you know the new patch that released 11.16.09 - it\'s not very good. First of all I get Error Code 16 whenever I save/save&quit - but if you Save As then it works, still confusing though. Then - what is this swimming pool nonsense? They are blackish blue and then to see your sim swim you have to go down a level so they are underground and surrounded by blackness. So your sim like disappears into this gothic hole and you have to use effort to see them swimming around. Ridiculous if you ask me.\r\nAnother thing, it used to be if you made your husband or whatever adult that lives with you a a Resident Doctor+ and gave them 4+ logic skill they could determine the gender of your pregnant sim\'s baby. I tried and I don\'t think this option is available anymore! \r\nGrr. I emailed The Sims 3 crew and hopefully they can fix some of this nonsense. =/\r\n\r\n\r\nOH AND HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICED THAT THE FORUMS AREN\'T WORKING? OR IS IT JUST ME?\r\n(sorry for caps)
Happy Release Day!

Happy Release of World Adventures Day!
Yes, it\'s finally here! You can visit France, Egypt and China, correct? There were rumors of an Italy, but I doubt it- my guess is religious things, because of the Vatican, Pope etc. That would be kind of cool I guess if they had like a Pope walking around, but anyway, it\'s finally here! I still have to pick up my copy, but I am gonna get it this week for sure!

I really didn\'t expect them to release an expansion pack so quickly after the release of the base game, I mean, I guess expansions are a lot easier to make because you already have the base and you just have to add different interactions. But I guess that is all the news for today. Is it me or do I say \'I guess\', a lot?
Well that\'s all I have to say for right now.
Bye!
Today is a day of mourning.
GEPOSTET AM 17/11/09
Today I am in mourning. I was playing Sims 3 - everything was going fabulously. My town was bursting with excitement and I had managed to have every Sim be connected with another is some way - it was great. I was playing with my latest Sim, Corinne Love, the first Sim I ever made - Kara\'s great great great granddaughter. She was at the top of the cooking career, had mastered cooking and gardening, had a huge garden, a fab house and a loving boyfriend (soon to be husband). All was well - I was 30 seconds from going to save my town when my computer froze. I had to immediately shut it down and restart, only to find that my beloved and amazingly developed town had been.....deleted. =O I am heartbroken.

I have had to rebuild these past few days, after homework and sports practice of course. Though my Sims will never be the same, I\'ve gotten some back. I recreated Corinne Love and rebuilt her life, and carried on from there. I miss my old Sims and feel like I am playing w/ strangers.

Call me a loser if you wish. The kids at school even make fun of me because I had a countdown to the Sims 3 release on a piece of paper in my binder.
But just remember, making fun doesn\'t make friends.

R.I.P my Sims. How I miss thee.
Well, goodnight world.
Happy Monday.
