Anyhoo,
We watched the videos, heard from Ben Bell about the Console versions - look pretty cool! He seems quite shy about being up on stage.
The we heard from Rachel Bernstein about Medieval - Totally cool! She seems pretty cool. The world was AMAZING!!! It was beautiful!! I only hope when it\'s on my laptop it will look as nice. (of course it won\'t be as wonderful as being high def on a massive screen) fingers crossed!!
Then we got back to Grant Rodiek (who seems quite at home in the spotlight) lol Throwing more T-Shirts - my daughter caught a Hogans Deep Fried Diner grey one!! LUCKY!!
Night Life looks like it\'s gonna ROCK!! I\'m so excited that we were able to play it! I love, love, LOVE the dancing on table! It is SOOOOO funny to watch. I will be having lots of fun with my Simmies!!
More T-Shirt throwing... You gotta love Grant!! I caught one! Also a Hogans Deep Fried Diner shirt! He seems to like nectar & \"Woohoo For Baby\" (lol - anyone who was there knows what I\'m talking about!!)
Then they had Q & A. Learned a bit more. WOULD NOT talk about future EP\'s (no problem - I can wait; I already have information overload!! lol)
Then Grant, Ryan Vaugn & Rachel Bernstein signed Sim Posters. Ha ha - Grant loves my name!! Too funny!! (You crack me up, Grant!!)
My daughter thinks he\'s a cutie - patootie! (my words - not hers) It seems a lot of Simmers on the forum agree with her... lol While I\'m old enough to be his \"older sister\" lol
We got a Sims Medival T-Shirt It\'s great!! Then on the the Game Room!!!
I didn\'t play LN as long as I would have liked too, there were people waiting, and not everyone would share. (there were 3 LN\'s setup) and then there was XBox & PS3 setups as well!
The I mentioned I was soooo excited to have been there, and the camera guy stopped me again to videotape us as well!! (Now I know I looked like a dork! Hopefully they won\'t add the dorky stuff into their video!!)
When we were leaving they told us to take any of the posters on the wall!! Woo-Hoo! How cooooool!!
So, that was my Town Hall experience in a very large wordy nutshell!! lol
My daughter & I went to the Sims Town Hall on October 22. It was soooo much fun. We drove 2 1/2 hours to get there! We got a little lost, but it\'s all good!! We made it at 3:50pm and went to find the room it was in. When we got there there were already about 12 to 14 people lined up against the wall. We took our place and waited. Someone came out and said we could have a plumbob headband to wear if we would wear it now... So of course we did!!! lol
A camera guy came over to ask about my T-Shirt (my daughter bought it for me) and he asked a few more questions... I, no doubt, looked like a total nerd!! lol Of well, it was fun! I got a T-Shirt for it! (it wasn\'t part of the bargin, I think they just didn\'t want me to whine!!) lol At 5pm they started doing the Sims Confession Bootth! Nope not me... I couldn\'t do it! When we got into the main room Grant got up on stage and started throwing T-Shirts to the crowd! So cool!! (His Mom was in the audience - how sweet)
(I\'ll be right back...)
Okay, I couldn\'t help but whine last time, but I\'m better now! I\'m done feeling sorry for myself!!
My hubby is getting better at going up and down the stairs again so now we get to sleep in our room again! (Woo - hoo!!) Ooops - not what I meant!! lol
I THINK my daughter & I are heading to San Fransico tomorrow to attend the \"Sims Town Hall\". I hope we get there in time!! I HATE the drive. It\'s so traffic-ky and congested. We are going early to hang out - maybe Pier 39 (our favorite place!)
I hope after enduring the drive and the extra time we\'re allowing to get there that we can be one of the 250 allowed in... If not, I will be the one boo-hooing just outside the door!! (fingers crossed)
You know I I said in my last blog entry that I don\'t like to whine, well gosh darn it... I\'m going to whine now!!!
I went to the store with my daughter today and slipped in some water and CRASH down I went! I tried to prevent myself from falling so I grabbed a counter and now I\'ve wretched my only usable arm!! (I have two arms, but one is messed up by my condition that it is barely usable now - I used to be a righty now I\'m forced to be a lefty!!)
So now I can barely move my \"good\" arm. The real problem is...
Who\'s going to take care of everything? My husband is still laid up with his hip replacement. I\'m still supposed to move his leg up and down when getting on/off the bed! Who\'s going to cook, clean, take care of our puppies, sigh...
I\'m a beaten down woman!! So poor poor pitiful me!!!! sigh
Okay that\'s all the time I can a lot to my pity party. Time to move on!!!
Thanks for listening!!!
I haven\'t posted anything to my blog lately, but everytime I start it turns out I\'m having a pity party - and I don\'t like to feel sorry for myself, so I delete it...
My hubby is doing better - he actually was able to climb the stairs! Yippee for him!
My RSD is still the same! I am sleeping a bit more than the last time I posted, lets hope I\'m on an upswing!! (It\'s pretty hard to survive on no sleep!!) lol
Some days are better than others as far as the pain goes, sometimes I wonder if it is better, or I\'m just getting more used to it!! :(
Anyway, my life is better than some, so I can\'t complain...
Happy Simming!!
