Been playing sims. Sick of error 12s. I hope my family doesn\'t get deleted because I had to save as like they did last time.
Been pretty bummed out.
I noticed about 4 months ago that my achilles tendon and back of my leg seemed to be unhappy, started right before I got my new Pumas. So I figured maybe it was the shoes pinching the tendon or a nerve or something, because it really started to hurt. Thought it would go away once the shoes were broken in, or that I needed to strengthen my calves or something so I started jogging and walking more.
Now there is a bump on my tendon and it hurts and is generally uncomfortable so I am going to have to go to the doctor. I didn\'t say anything to my husband til recently because I thought it was either the shoes or my own issue. But he noticed the swelling and demanded I see a doctor because it looks like a partial rupture of the tendon. My mom is having a cat about it too because I was ignoring it. But I really REALLY hate seeing the doctor. I never go unless I am sure nothing good will come out of not going. In any case I will probably have to have it either wrapped up a lot or cast and neither sounds like a picnic. Glad Late Night releases in a month so I can at least play that while I recover. I miss the stair-stepping machine already :(
I am getting more excited for Late Night and I am so happy October is almost here. Lots of reasons I am ready to get to October. I feel like I am about to burst I am looking forward to end of October so much. I am really going to go all out for Halloween. Jade is planning on us going to a bed and breakfast for our anniversary which will be cool cause they have all sorts of neat things going on during Halloween where he wants to go. Not sure if I will dress up - might just spend the time relaxing and chilling out. I reeeally want to stay at the Broadmoor again but its too expensive without the discount with all the games I ordered LOL
That Glade ad I keep getting makes me want that candle. Pretty sure its lavendar vanilla. I use those air fresheners in my house.
Been pretty tired lately. Slowly been snooping in the WoW PTR and I am totally unsure of the changes to the class builds :( Its like making it a whole new game to learn and I am so not liking the experience. I once made a lvl 80 shaman in a national arena competition although I had never played a shaman before. I made a HUGE mess and had no idea what I was doing or how I was doing it. That is how this feels.
Other than that I am feeling super anxious lately and I can\'t pinpoint why but it attaches itself to every little tiny thing that comes along. I am going shopping for new plates with my mother in law tomorrow and hopefully that will be a good distraction.
I really am looking forward to Late Night, I feel it will be my favorite expansion yet. Other than that, my allergies are still running rampant and I want to tear my nose off. I\'m sitting here right now eating yakisoba and trying to decide if I reeeeeally want to raid in WoW tonight. I got the Kingslayer title finally on my hunter, but my main is a druid for the past 3 years...I feel guilty for sort of moving on to a different class main because I adore my druid and am a fantastic feral dpser. But I can\'t choose between her and my hunter and don\'t want to, so I try to get them the achievements together and treat them like mains. Its a pain though and sometimes I wish I never started playing.
Somethings in life I wish were as easy as they are for sims.
I am trying desperately to get pregnant. I want a baby and have been trying with my husband nearly 2 years now. I wish I got musical chimes when it happened. OOH and also that when I took laundry out of the dryer it magically got put away. LOL
I preordered Late Night through EA\'s store...and got severely gouged for expedited shipping. I will be seriously not amused if it doesn\'t arrive on release day - especially since they already charged my card. Sorry, EA but that\'s terrible business practice to charge for preorders without specifically stating such. No where else charges til the items actually ship if its preorder status.
Really anxious for Late Night though. Excitement it reaching critical mass lol. And I started a story in sims, and my first machinima. I made a Sunset Valley save just for the story sims and turned off aging and story...and my mom sim went to work while the kids were at school and her workplace - the hospital- was kersmashed by a meteor that killed Agnes Crumplebottom and singed everyone else in the area. It was so sad cause Agnes is my fave premade BUT it was also pretty hilarious. I love this game.
I got an Error 12 on my Goth family. And so I saved as. And my save was deleted entirely. :( What a major bummer. The only reason I am not utterly crushed is because I am hoping the family is backed up on my laptop - and I will start the game over once Late Night releases anyways. Still an enormous letdown. Also getting the whole \"Some objects were not loaded and were replaced\" crap which is lame because it doesn\'t fail to load anything and just claims it did.
It was too hot today. I am sick of 90s weather, I am ready for the crisp Fall weather and for things to get a whole lot cooler. Trying to decide on a Halloween costume too. Hmm
Its an interesting season, game release-wise. Though I am having some remorse over buying Mafia 2 on Steam when I should have totally bought it on Xbox 360...and knowing I am going to buy it on Xbox and most likely ignore my PC copy for a while and play it on Xbox. But I want it, so I intend to get it. That sounds so bad LOL but its true. I can\'t believe how fortunate I am sometimes.
And Tuesday I am buying Fast Lane and I am excited. REEEEALLY want Late Night though. Vampires have me stoked. And Fable 3 releases the same day...AND Rockband 3; it\'ll be a wonder if I see the outdoors for weeks.
I was excited to see Spring arrive this year, my dad died before Christmas and winter seemed to stretch out forever. But my favorite season is Autumn. Its cool and crisp, the leaves are pretty and my favorite holiday and wedding anniversary is just around the corner.
My sims are gearing up for the expansion too, Agnes Crumplebottom has some of the prettiest children with a French man she met on her travels and decided to take home with her, Gunther has passed on but new life is starting out for Mortimer and Bella. Right now I am waiting for their wedding at a new beachside gazebo I built after buying the wedding set last month. I was inspired by the wedding setup in the preview pics of that set, and decided to finally put that stuff to good use, even though most of my sims end up having private weddings, I thought Bella and Morty deserved a lavish wedding in a beautiful locale.
Anyhow, that\'s all for now! Happy simming!
