I created a home and wrote a story that explains my rationale for the build. It can be found here: http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=86371
I have to admit, as much as I like the BnS Challenges, I also like creating a story that goes along with them, and developing the characters based on the interactions they choose spontaneously. It feels like technology-assisted collaborative storytelling.
The results for Week 9 came back: I won for the Beginner category! Of course now that I am competing in a higher ability range, I don\'t expect anything will come easy, but I am inspired and challenged by the other BnS builders.
I also decided to create another lot for Sunset Impressions. This time I will do a community lot: forested area with a pond and some playground equipment.
Then, it looks like Project Runway Sims Edition is finally underway. I created a fashion show story for my Week 1 models, and happened upon an intriguing story between Star Newly and her stranged grandmother Julie Darke (who I admit to trying to kill off many, many times as part of my Newbiew family legacy - finally I just moved her out and forgot about her until Star decided to become a model and ended up working for a fashion powerhouse named... Julie Darke). I look forward to creating some interesting stories with these two.
