Just thught I\'d share some stuff I\'ve discovered now I\'ve had the game for 16 days:
\r\n- You cannot change the pattern/texture of a ceiling, or add/remove their tiles. The game just sticks one underneath any flooritles n the floor above.
\r\n- The Babies do less in their crib than in TS2, just blink and cry. A step back in my opinion.
\r\n-There is a book you can buy called \'Where\'s Bella?\' Sounds interesting.
\r\n-There are 3 size canvases you can paint on: Small, Medium and Large.
\r\n-A Baby gets 2 traits when they are born, and none when they become a Toddler.
\r\n-You can Serenade your Sims partner with the guitar, which I thought was a nice touch.
\r\n-If you hold the cursor over a plate, you can drag it into the bin rather than directing your Sims to do it.
\r\n-You can learn Recipes by watching the Cooking Cabl channel on TV.
Ok, one of my first Sims just passed away at the age of 90 Sim days. Now, her husband had the Opputinity to bring her back as a ghost, which he did after her death. However....!
\r\n- They were know Ex-Wife and Ex-Husband
\r\n- The wife\'s wishes were gone (not too annoying but hey)
\r\nAnd the worst one of all....
\r\n-She was now unemployed!!! The only reason I brought her back was so she could achieve her LTW or being a 5 star chef! Now I\'m stuck with this ghost for another 18 Sim days until she dies again- great....
\r\nI hope that informs you about playable ghosts. If I find out anything else on the matter I\'ll update this post.
\r\n\r\n
Edit #1:
\r\nIn the end I just used testingcheatsenabled true to end the ghosts life. I have to say I\'m a little disappointed in playable ghosts, especially how thier lose their jobs. :-(
Sims 3 rocks!!!!
\r\n\r\n
There are so many great things about the game THAT I LOVE!
\r\nThe lives of my first Sims are comnig to an end, but their family continues to expand. I started off with 4 Sims and that\'s now up to 9, with each one achieving their wishes and buidling up in their careers. :-)
\r\nThere are some things I dislike, but overall the game is great! I love all the trait-based interactions, like\' Accuse of being Evil\' \'Imply mother is a llama\' \'Praise hard work\' and LOADS more that I haven\'t experienced yet.
\r\nI can\'t wait to start on Machnimas soon.
For some reason it wouldn\'t let me post Friday\'s blog, so I\'ll make up for it with a big one today.
\r\n\r\n
The game ROCKS!
\r\n\r\n
I have learned loads in my first days of playing, so I\'m gonna share some of it with you guys.
\r\n\r\n
-The protests at City Hall are great- they really look and sound realistic. (except being in Simlish)
\r\n-There are LOADS of new social interactions, like \'Complain About School\' \'Get to Know\' \'Ask if Single\' \'Applaud Hard Work\' The list just goes on.
\r\n- Sim\'s have their beds designated to them. After they\'ve slept in a bed once, that is \'their\' bed unless you direct them to sleep in another one. So if you\'re another Sim ands you click on a bed that isn\'t yours, you can \'Sleep in ____\'s Bed\'
\r\n-Sunrise and sunset are as amazing as they look in the pictures and videos
\r\n-It\'s harder to make friends and fulfill Wishes than in TS2, which I think gives the game more realism.
\r\n
I rushed to Game after to school and picked up my copy of the Colector\'s Edition! I also got the Prima guide.
\r\nMy brother gave me a \u00A320 gift voucher at Christmas, and I had \u00A310 on my Game loyalty card, so guess how much I payed?
\r\n\u00A322! I\'m so happy since it means I have a lot left to start saving for my holiday in August.
\r\nAnyway, it\'s installing right now! Once it\'s done I\'m gonna get my 2 exclsuive cars, download Riverview, and then I\'m ready to play! :)
\r\nBut first I\'m gonna re-start my computer to reduce lagging
\r\n\r\n
CAN\'T WAIT!!!!!!!
