Well, that idea was a flop!

Apparently you need more than just the tool from tsr to make custom content.  This doesn\'t help me since you can\'t just go out and download what you need.  Sorry, but I have a family and responsibilities. So, I\'ll have to settle for a less accurate Circus.  Expect to see it soon, all I\'m doing is coordinating the decor in the rooms, and making sure the tomb aspects are properly linked.

As far as writing is concerned this is it. Yay! I\'ve been doing some reading to recharge my batteries...not quite working, but it was worth a shot. Oh well, back to making other people\'s lives!

Get to Writing!
POSTED ON 05/28/10

As a writer, I\'m out of shape.  I don\'t write frequently enough and it shows.  Just like a weight lifter a writer must write and keep writing to stay in shape,  So, I am goint to try to make my sim blog a more frequent thing, even though I may not have much to really say.  I\'m still of the opinion that no one really cares about or reads my blog, so it\'s more like I\'m writing to my imaginary friend or something.  I just want to be able to fiinish somethig, and God forbid, publish it.  However, I\'m having a hard time getting my creative writing up and moving, thus this Journal-like fixationon my Sims Blog.

\r\n

I haven\'t been \"playing\" persay.  After writing my last blog, I decide I was going to work on the circus again and so I did.  In fact, I was up till 3am that night working on it.  Still not finished really.  The devil is in the details.  Is there paint in every room, floors in every level, windows above ground, light in every room?  Does everything look full enough?  Would that be in that room, this room, some other room?  Would this be here at all?  What the heck is missing? I don\'t want to actually finish till I find a large painting or even a tapestry that has one of two items to it; Cupid & Psyche, or JC Asher and Juliana. It just couldn\'t be the circus without one or both of those int eh basement levels.  I\'m thinking of symplifying some of the dungeon aspects of the basemennt too.  I\'m just going to have to redo some of the triggers.  I wish I could do something more elaborate, but honestly it\'s taking so much of my time with teh asctal living areas to even theink about the others.

\r\n

I\'m closer to done though, if I don\'t let my pickiness get in the way.  Maybe I\'ll try that silly items tool to see if I can make my own portrait.  I know where to find the images...well I\'ve found one that satisfies me, but I still need to figure out how to alter the cloned item.  perhaps now is the time to actually check out the tutorial.  I thought \"surely I can figure stuff out on my own,\" but apparently I can\'t.

\r\n

Well, I\'m off. Maybe by this time tomorow I\'ll have posted my Circus of the Damned ^^! Yay!

Woops!

Looks like I forgot to make a weekly update of everything.  Well, here\'s a bit of an update, however belated it may be.

\r\n

I\'m afraid I haven\'t done much with my Anita Blake themed stuff, including the Circus of the Damned... I did attempt to alter the duckie just a little to make JC\'s tub toy, but it hasn\'t worked.  I\'ll probably uninstall that tool since I can\'t figure it out, and I really don\'t have the passion needed to want to figure it out.  I just wanna play my silly game.  Anyway, I suppose this\'ll be insparation to work some more on the Anita Blake themed stuff.  I have been thinking about adding allot of characters, and maybe populating an entire town with them (since there is a Buku amount of characters when you really think about it!). Anyway, the CotD is nearly completed, it just has some details that need to be ironed out.  I created JC however, I think I\'m going to try to change his hair to a more wavy mesh.  Don\'t get me wrong, he looks scrumptious, however I would like him to be accurate.

\r\n

In my Sim Family all of the children are married and have had kids.  Katrina Married first, but Brandon got his wife pregnant first, and Gabriel suprised us all by getting his wife premaritally pregnant, thus inspiring a midnight marraige. Everything\'s great though, Katrina had a boy named Taylor, Gabriel had twin girls Peggy and (Peggy looks like a mutant, but I\'m sure she\'ll grow out of it) and Brandon had a girl Brooklyn, and just recently had a boy named Brandon Jr.  Jarred and I are OLD and retired, but we\'re still kicking, and happily living with Brandon and his family who will inherrit the house and everything when we pass on.

\r\n

Well, nuff of my sim update, I\'m off to play!

I want to kick myself for not recording when I had my sim explore another tomb...she prooved she\'s clumsy without even having the trait by falling into the dive well.  I know it was her falling in cause I herd the sim cry out as she did it! Clumsy sim! oH and let\'s not forget the steam trap she just walked right into! (shakes head)
