...but then it was only in the 30's and with the wind chill factor it felt like it was in the teens. So it doesn't quite feel like the warm weather is coming anytime soon, especially since we are supposed to get some more snow this weekend! 
It was supposed to be a significant amount of snow, but the weathermen have been predicting that it will be less than what they first predicted (crosses fingers & hope they are right). Gotta say we really haven't had a lot of snowfall this winter, but it just seems a little late to start getting snow now!

...and all went pretty well for her, she managed to keep her grades up and give/attend many parties & protests. Although I have to say the little glitches did start toward the end of her first term at Uni. The grade meter was OK at first, but then I noticed when the professor couldn't get through the mob piled up at the door my Sims grade meter was dropping pretty fast even though she was seated in class taking notes LOL for a lecture that wasn't being given!

Anyway as the glitches managed to finally creep into my game & I started to experience the Uni death phenomenon
& lost 2 Sims to starvation towards the end of her first term, even though I had my Sim cooking and leaving food in the fridge for them. I finally put a fryer on the counter since Sims seem to obsessively
use this object. It helped stop the hunger deaths and then I also placed Bone Hilda in the house to keep it clean, I didn't want to spend all my time asking her roommates to clean and then have them clean one thing or ignore her request and leave for class. 
I also used the cheat code and would "make all happy"
when I would see the green fumes
emanating from some of her roomies, no one likes a stinky
Sim! 
Unfortunately, that game is really starting to act up, I tried to send my nerd girl back to get started on her second degree, I want her to get all six degrees. It would send her, but when I tried to place her into a home it wouldn't show any of the dorms for her to move in.
The option wasn't coming up right to move her in 
, it kept asking if I wanted to purchase
the property instead of renting
, so I finally just moved her into a house to see what would happen. 
It was so weird when she was in front of the house there was a police car out front and when I looked at her stats, she had no skills, no friends, no school info for class and then she rolled a want to enroll in Uni! 
I quit without saving and tried last night to send the Plant Sim I had move into her home that she met while at her last term for her first degree. The Plant Sim was able to enroll and move into a dorm, but she has no friends in her friend panel and her roommates keep popping out of bed and going out in front of the house in their undies, even though it's snowing outside. I was so tired last night that I couldn't finish her term and decided to save and hope for the best when I try to play that game again, I'm hoping I don't have to delete that game and start over! 
It's really to bad EA didn't fix the problems with World Adventure, since from what I've read about UL they used the same coding from WA & I had to stop playing WA because my game kept crashing on my old computer. I really would hate to stop playing UL it really is fun to play. University was one of my favorite EP's for TS2, sigh.

Today is the release day for University Life! 
I checked our tracking codes this morning for our pre-order from Origin and it still says estimated deliver date is the 7th, however it has been delivered to a post office that's only about an hour away. So I'm hoping beyond hope that it will make it to our local post office for delivery today. 
I was on the forums a couple of hours ago and from reading some of the threads, people are saying Origin didn't release the Digital Download yet and that was around 4 a.m. my time. So I guess things aren't going as smoothly as they should for the digital release, which is PO'ing the people who pre-ordered the DD from Origin. 
As if it wasn't tedious enough waiting to find out if our postman
will deliver our game today, we are supposed to get a bad snowstorm today. 
It's one of those days that has the potential to go from bad to worse! 
...or we will be thrilled that our games get delivered! 
Either way the game we will be playing this morning is the waiting game.

P.S. Got our games, but after reading that people are having trouble registering the game on forums & redeeming their incentive codes for pre-ordering the game I'm going to wait to register my game. 
, isn't that what they say? Well it's March as for roaring in like a lion, mehh seems like any other winter month, brrr it's cold today. 
Hopefully it will be warming up a bit this month, but honestly I like it cool because summer will bring all those bugs & I can't stand bugs! 
Ro & I pre-ordered University Life and I checked our order status on Friday 3/1/13 and it didn't even have a tracking number. I finally got an email Saturday 3/2/13 letting us know the order shipped Yipee!
...but when I checked the tracking code, it said the delivery date was the 7th! 
I sure hope it comes on Tuesday, it's starting to get old ordering from Origin & getting these pre-ordered games after the release date & knowing the games are sitting on store shelves. If it weren't for the extra content that I want, I would just stop pre-ordering and run out to the stores to get it myself.
