First of all, you did not have to get me a gift to ask a question....you can always find one of my threads and it will not bother me at all if you ask something unrelated to the thread. That being said, thank you very much. :)
\r\nAs far as moving goes...I dont move families out with the \"move\" option on the phone at all. I do it from \"edit town\" and move them to the clipboard and then move them into the house I want to put them in. I take anything special in the house and put it in their inventory first. Have not had any problems at all doing it that way. I would think from the amount of time oyu described that your game is glitched and you are going to have to exit without saving and go back to your last save if you dont want to lose that family. I tend to save my game frequently...its hard to remember but I try to do it after any big event like a death, birth, birthday...or if a sim makes a new relationship that I want to keep.
\r\nSorry I cant be more of a help to you..wish I knew of a way to solve your problem. I might suggest that next time you move a family, try doing it from edit town and see if that works better or you. :)
Thank you so much for the gift! You are so sweet...I appreciate it so much and cant wait to use it in my builds. Thank you. :)
\r\n
I am so happy that you are enjoying my work..that just makes my day. Thank you so much for the gift...I want to go into the game right now and try it out! You are so kind. Thank you. :)
\r\n
I love that Gothic painting...it will look so nice in my houses! You are always so supportive of my efforts..that is really the only gift I could ever want. Thank you. :)
\r\n
I have been getting alot of requests from people regarding the use of my lots in a custom neighborhood they are creating. I am honored that so many of you want to use them...it makes me very pleased to see my houses being used out there and when they pop up in a story or machinima, I feel just like a proud parent. ( well I AM a proud parent..but I digress :)
\r\nSo here is the deal: you MAY use my lots in your hood as long as the lot deion credits me so that if someone likes it they can come to my page and check out the rest of my stuff. You MAY credit me in the overall deion of your hood...that would be nice. You MAY tell me about using my lots so I can check out your hood and see what you have done and enjoy your work. What you MAY NOT do...ever....is take credit for MY work. I work very hard on these houses and I put alot of care and attention into them. I am happy to share them with everyone to use..in fact...I adore when my houses are used. I just dont like it when people try to pass off my work as their own. I think thats pretty fair, dont you?
For weeks I have been working on this thing...ever since the tool was released. I thik I have figured out what NOT to do for the most part...but there are still some things left to master...but as the dust clears I have Victorian Bay completed.
\r\n\r\n
It features my Victorian builds and starters and so it is more of an old fashioned, tree lined streets kind of town. It has everything...and I mean eerything....yout simmy could need in the way of job and recreation locations...including a mega central park that I am very pleased with. I had a few simmers playtest for me and they were very helpful...their feedback allowed me to refine the town and correct some mistakes. The town has been played for 2 sim weeks and in my game, it is quite full and vibrant. I think I am up to 8 townie families now....and when my simmy goes to public places there are plenty of people to interact with and the spawners are working so there are tons of things to collect, fish, and harvest...
\r\nI hope you enjoy this town as a new location in your game. The story in my studio has the dowload instructions, as I am unable to get the world to load on to the exchange and I am still waiting to hear back from the Support Team a week later. I would have much prefered to put it on the exchange, but since the mediafire download is a simpack, it will be very easy for anyone to install.
New Year is a great time to think about the past year and to plan the next. Looking back over 2009, I have to say the Sims3 community has been a wonderful part of my year....the new forums, different on line groups, and communities are full of friends and I appreciate all of the positive feedback and support I have been lucky enough to receive. I am truly honored to have been given the opportunity to visit EA and participate in the Simposium...one of the biggest highlights of my year. ( Its not THE biggest...that was watching my daughter graduate with multiple honors from highschool....sorry EA :) lol)
\r\nIt was an adventure I will never forget and the people at EA were so nice and funny...and very dedicated to bringing us an unforgettable gaming experience.
\r\nSo what does the New Year bring? Who knows....but I am sure it will be great. Personally, I am making a resolution to be more positive in general and not let negative thoughts and doubts get to me. Not an easy one for me, as I tend to be a bit of a worry wart...but I am going to give it a shot. And I am sending out all of my most sincere wishes to everyone in the community to have the best year ever. :)
