Snow!

We finally had a significant snowfall for the first time today!

It is winter, so it had to happen sooner or later and honestly it's pretty late in the season for us to finally get some snow.

The last few years our winters have been getting milder and milder which is causing summer droughts because we aren't getting enough snow to replenish the water tables when the snow finally melts in spring. So I guess this is going to be a dry summer if we don't get a heck of a lot more snow before it turns warmer.

So I bundled up and went out to shovel the snow since our association won't send someone out to shovel unless there is more than two inches on the ground.

They only predicted about an inch and I figured I may as well get it done before or if I decide to play my game. I finally bought the new SP yesterday, but I was to tired to play after I got home.

In fact, I haven't even opened the package to install it yet, maybe later cuz right now I'm no in the mood to Sim. I think I'll go lurk on the forums for now!

Forgot the new SP was being released this week!

I was perusing the forums this morning and checked out the SP section and saw people were posting about the new SP. Of course everyone was up in arms because they couldn't redeem the code to get the pinball machine for pre-ordering the game (from Origin).

This is why I'm tired of pre-ordering the game, besides the pinball machine didn't interest me and Origin seems to be having so much trouble with the codes. I pre-ordered Seasons from Origin and they never sent me the code for the "exclusive" costumes I was supposed to get for pre-ordering from them, I had to call them ...what a pain.

I'll probably get the new SP when I'm out and about at the stores, it just seems lately I've lost the excitement for the game.

Although I am looking forward to University, that was one of my fave EP's for TS2.

Just wanted to Thank my other half for gifting me the Al Fresco Street Market & Lullabies and Nursery Rhymes Set! I've wanted those items, but EA has been pumping out so many new things, I couldn't keep up. So again Thank You so much Ro!

I've also been struggling to find the time to play my game! I thought with the Holidays behind us I would finally be able to get some Simming time in, but I've been so busy with RL stuff. I'm trying to get some crochet/knitted gifts done for the baby showers

that are coming up. Yes, I have 2 baby showers coming up soon and I'm crocheting/knitting up a storm!

I've also got a couple of birthdays coming up in February & one in March

, so I've been saving my money for all these gifts I'm going to have to buy!

So I was so happy that Ro gifted me those EA store items, it means so much to me since I couldn't afford to spend money on points to get them myself.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a little Simming time if I can get those booties finished today, that will complete the one layette set for the baby shower that is at the end of this month. So I'll rest my sore arm for a few days before starting the next layette set for the shower in February and try to squeeze in some Simming time.
