Skyscraper
GEPOSTET AM 30.01.2010

Well in my continuing effort to explore the limits of what I can build I tried to build a skyscraper.  It has 15 floors, all accessable by the sims.  But it is a real pain in the but to work with.  Jumping between levels is very difficult when decorating.  So I scraped the project.  While building high is certainly possible, I won\'t recommend it.  I know I still have my dungeon project on hold but I\'m going to hold off on it for a while.  I think my next project will be to build a nice simple home with the focus on interior decorating.

Castle

Well I have run into a snag with the castle project.  It seems that adding in the basement levels crashed my comp.  I put up the partially decorated version on the exchange.  Once I figure out how to make/run a slideshow I will finish decorating it and replace on the exchange minus the dungeon.  The dungeon will just have to be made seperately.  Too bad real life someone can\'t type in \"testingcheatsenabled true\" over my head and magically a new computer pops up on my new desk, that is conventaly located just a few squares from my super cool new sports car.  Ahhh, well.
Castle

Well I have started work on my castle and it is turning out to be the most difficult build I have ever tried.  Mainly because I am expermenting with a ton of features I have never used before.  The good news for me is the basic structure is completed, finally.  I have the castle, moat, drawbridge, outbuildings, grounds and gardens finished, though I plan on revisiting the grounds later.  By far and away the hardest part was using the terrain editor to make my castle appear to be 6 floors high and then tricking everything to seamlessly fit back together.

Next phase, which I anticpate to be equally difficult will be to add in the underground dungeon.
