Bamboo springs was created by Naomi (username: mininimi). Bamboo springs was only discovered a few 50 years ago. the sailors saw in the distance a huge green alien like fog and what seemed to be spaceships but then again these people were out at sea a long time and were very sea sick. as they came on land they discovered that most of the life was dead at one half of the island (and it still is too) and that there was also a smaller island out in the distance across the beach, with people on it! they tried to get to it but the currents were far to strong and pulled you down in a bit of a whirlpool way (if someone were observing the currents they would eventually come to the conlution that they surrounded the island) so they then took a ship out, now there werent any survivors but there was apparently one witness (she really did see the ship but she was a sick old woman that had visions) she believed that she saw a huge tenticle come out of the ground and pull the ship under, her family members and the rest of the people that knew her, knew of her conditions and so it was passed by and wasnt investigated any further as they new of the currents (and slightly believed the poor old woman) and so now, today, it is passed on as childrens tales and parents threating punishments.
