Yes, this creature was once real and living. This is the thylacine, better known as the Tasmanian Tiger (wolf). This animal wasn't a canine or a feline, but a marsupial with a pouch like a kangaroo. Sadly due to a misunderstanding about these creatures, these animals where exterminated by man, and the last one named "Benjamin" died september 7th, 1936 in a Tasmanian zoo. However alot of people beleive they are not extinct. Ever since the last one died, there have been over 4,000 sightings!
