I love Sims, (building lots especially) art history, architecture, gardening, books...all kinds...Twizzlers pull and peel, and the color red.
My pet peeves include companies that use deliberate misspellings in their name ( such as "kountry" instead of country or "lil" instead of little), onions ( hate 'em with the white hot fire of a thousand suns) and kids that leave dirty socks in every room of the house.
I am not a "glass is half full" OR "glass is half empty" kind of person. I am a person who is grateful to have a glass in the first place. :)

WIP: Needs a Name...any ideas?
POSTED ON 02/03/12 05:14 AM
Doing some cleaning and found a book of houseplans...casually flipped through it and saw a house that caught my eye. My plans for a tropical victorian build immediately got put on the back burner for a new shiny....lol. This is not an exact replica...I didnt even look at the floorplan...but it captures the feel of the original. Warm, cozy, contemporary traditional....and oh yeah...it is on a 20x20 lot so it can be placed on one of the empty lots sprinkled around Everything Island. I like it so much, I think my avi will be moving in. If you have any ideas for a good name, please let me know. I am really drawing a blank on that. It should be ready in about a week or so. :)
Galveston Island!

Just got back from a nice weekend trip to Galveston....which is thick with Victorians and absolute heaven for someone like me. :) Tons of inspriation to be found everywhere...I am thinking of a whole tropical Victorian series based on the architecture of the island. I hope it doesnt mean a whole new custom world to fit them all....lol Took a tour of the magnificent Bishops Palace...one of the most important examples of Victorian architecture in the United States. It was stunning...if you have the chance, you need to check it out. The stained glass windows, beautiful woodwork, carvings...really gorgeous stuff.
