Meine Story:
I'm just a little bit dorky and a lot a bit of a Sims nerd. Uploading videos and photos isn't really my thing, and neither is blogging about Simming, but I'd still like to try it out for this game. I'm hoping that with this decision my videos and stories will be few and far between, but will all be uniquely interesting to this community. I'm sure I'll get started eventually.

I wrote part 1 of the story, but the site is all glitchy so I couldn\'t publish it, and then I lost it all. So I\'ll have to redo it later. Also, I\'m having some issues with reinstalling WA. Anyway, Part 1 will be up as soon as I can get it up!


Hello World! Setting Out On a New Story.

So, to begin with I\'ll tell you my laptop is a complete piece of crap and I will be getting a new one come Christmas. Over my time of owning it, I\'ve had to get an external keyboard, an external mouse, and I even cracked the screen so an external monitor (luckily that one was given to me so I didn\'t have to spend too much money) and by that point I said why not and used my husband\'s speakers from the time his old laptop had the sound go out. So up until now it has basically been a slimmer CPU for a desktop computer. Unfortunately, now the disc drive has decided it doesn\'t want to read discs anymore (Hooray!) making it impossible to play the Sims. Fortunately (I LOVE YOU EA) Origin has made it possible to go ahead and download a digital version without any extra money (This makes me so happy) Unfortunately, yet again, when I uninstalled and then reinstalled my latest expansion via digital copy the whole dang game was screwed. So I decided why not (yet again) and decided to reinstall the whole thing, even wiping all of my content. I\'m going to have to start over again when I get my new laptop anyway; don\'t want to be too attached to those save files.

Anyway, I don\'t know if you know this, but this process takes for FREAKING EVER! Also, I hate it when you install a bunch of expansions and you get all kinds of popups explaining all the new features. So, in order to give myself both a break from those and a break between downloads to actually be able to play the game like I\'ve been wanting to do all day (instead of waiting till 3 in the morning for this to be done, since I have work tomorrow) I have decided to well.. play the game between downloads.

And that\'s when it hit me. The expansions in order of release would make an adorable little Sims storyline.

I\'m sure I won\'t be finished tonight, but I am hoping to make a little expansion saga following the tale of one Sim as she explores all the new features of each game as I reinstall it. Now, doesn\'t that sound like fun? :D
