As far as the game, I love to build and share my work. I also am a sci-fi fan;Star Trek, Star Wars. Favorite movie of all time is John Carpenter's "They Live". I also love "Independence Day". I prefer to be alone but I enjoy chatting online.

Hoping For A Better Forum

At this time, I\'m not happy with the forum here on TS3. We are allowed to make friends but we are not allowed to communicate. Why don\'t we have a Guest Book?
There must be some reason why they have decided to not allow us to talk to each other. We don\'t even get emails when We are signed up to a post. I have to bookmark it.
When you create something, it gets buried beneath the heap of custom items and other creative stuff. I don\'t spend hours upon hours of my time, putting all my creative talents into it, only to have it buried before anyone has had a chance to really check it out.
If this forum doesn\'t change for the better, as soon as there\'s a decent Sim 3 alternative forum turns up, I\'m going to spend my time and efforts there. That site has got to have a easy way to communicate with friends. It also has got to have some kind of rating system. Preferably like TS3 in that respect as it gives anyone a chance to recommend. I like that idea very much. It also has to have an easy way to display all of a creator\'s work, with the ability to upload photos and video without hassle. Of course make it easy to provide a link for downloading our work.
Is this just too much to ask? I\'ve just been through all the stuff I put up with over at TS2, the down-rating and then the upload issue that even to this day, has not been fixed. Yet there is a month old post saying they were working on the issue.
I\'m signed on to facebook but it seems everything get\'s buried there too. You have to just keep posting a thread to let other simmers know your lot is available. That last for maybe an hour and then it is buried under a whole lot of conversation. It would help to have a forum that is just for lots and one for sims and one for stories and etc. That way the simmer who is looking for something particular like a lot or a sim, can just go to that appropiate forum.
A forum is about communication. They want us to play a game that is based on sims making friends and communicating with each other and then don\'t provide a way for us to talk to each other on this forum. Maybe that will change but it need to change sooner, not later like the issue with uploading over at TS2. They want us to keep buying those expansion packs they\'ll be putting out eventually, then they need to take care of us here on this forum.
In the mean time, I\'ll be looking for the perfect forum to spend my time with.

Well, my friends, I\'m only a minute away from discovering TS3. I got the collectors edition of course, and the strategy guide which will probably become useless as I know the best place to get help will be on here. We\'ll see. Right now, most of us don\'t know didley squat about this game so maybe I\'ll get a heads up.
I\'m off to play!!!
