I made a Spanish style lot over the last couple of days and have some pics here:

It's a 3 bedroomed home, furnished and priced at around 150K. I have it up on Redwood Parkway in Sunset Valley (2 lots up from the Crumplebottom home).
Today I made a home for a Single sim. She's in the political career and just lives to party. She's having great fun in this home, The Singleton. Here's a shot of the back,

The house is empty, place your own party sim in it. :)
Here are a couple of outfits I made today. The mini dress I really like. I made it in peachy tones for the girlie girls, and a black and red number for the Gothy types.
Also a cute swimsuit,

Happy Simming.
So.... !
I finally figured out how to get this lot working in the game to be able to throw parties there.
First of all, plonk it down. In Sunset Valley there is one empty commercial lot on Oak Grove Road (near the Single Mom's house). I assume in Riverview you'd have to delete an existing lot.
Then I went to the lot in build/buy mode and added one more bbq and picnic table and also a small pond. This was enough to have my sims able to throw their wedding party there. (I never tried it without the pond but am sure it would work).
So Jemima Ursine just married Will Keaton and a few days later they welcomed twins Liam and Ross into the Ursine household. Claire is still clinging on to life and full of beans- she's one happy Grandma.
I was messing about in CAS and came up with some tropical themes, I used them for swimwear for picture purposes,

enjoy, :)
My latest sim teen has a thing for pink, so here's a funky outfit for her I made that I thought I'd share,

I used the print from the waistcoat for matching pumps and added a set of bracelets to finish the look, now all she needs is to find her head...
