My Story
I am a male teenager from Birmingham in the United Kingdom, currently in Year 11. I am the same user-name from The Sims 2, Spore and YouTube. I started playing the Sims 2 on PS2 in 2006, realising that there was a whole new experience to discover on the PC I made that leap in 2007 and boy was I pleased. Ever since I have been creating downloadable content for the Sims series. My friends and supporters have played a huge part in helping me gain the confidence to be able to share and produce my work amongst the people of the internet. - *********49

This weekend will see the uploading of my latest house: Frandor Manor. A Contemporary Modern that I personally think is my best yet, I've put a good few hours into this build and have showed absolutely nobody except for my sister who gets to watch me build every single house.

Then the weekend after I'll be uploading 'Treasure Hunt' a short snappy comic machinima based around Sunset Valley's Police Depo!

On the house front, I'll be starting a project that I've been meaning to get started on for a while now which will comprise of two lot uploads! Uploaded a fortnight apart so some simmers are going to be a little disappointed with the wait for the second upload...because I can't go into much detail now.

Then I've got a machinima idea planned called: 'Younger Sibling' or something to that effect, which I haven't planned...much.

Cull this baby!

So after reading that culling is going to be incorporated into The Sims 3 exchange I can gladly say that I couldn't care less. I've got to the point where the community aspect of this website just disgusts me to the point where I don't care what get's thought about me or mt creations.

Watch my lots get culled. I know they will, and I'm saying that in the most positive way possible. I don't really promote my uploads onto this website because I prefer uploading to smaller friendlier sites. Such as SimShare!

All I'm really going to say now is that I'll upload the odd lot or so here onto the exchange, but I'll always link to my SimShare uploads. The message really is if you want my lots off this excuse for an exchange then you better grab them fast!

Coming Soon - Frandor Manor.

Director's Notes - Romantic Outing

Happy Valentine's Day Blog! I didn't manage to post yesterday, but I did upload my newly made machinima to YouTube. Obviously that will be the focus of today's blog so before I begin...go check it out!

Romantic Outing is a 80 second long machinima with a romantic approach. Following the daily life of one young sim, he decides to invite his love interest on a day out around the town. The start off at the theatre and end up at the beach after visiting the Art Gallery, Eating Outside, and Fishing. The whole idea of this machinima was to tell a story and take on the form of a movie montage. Let's face it, some films will spend the main duration focusing on the plot and will take small periods of minutes to tell a little sideline movie through montage form.

I had storyboarded the entire thing and I have to say it went pretty well, except for the flirting at the end, which I changed around a little bit to work better. The longest parts of the machinima were at the art gallery and the beach (dicounting the house at the start). The art gallery was meant to show that the two lovers find that they have more common interests than they anticipated, and the beach was obviously the perfect surrounding for a backdrop.

Like I mentioned earlier, the short clips here and there were done movie montage style. Plus I'd decided to make most of the shots moving camera shots. I wouldn't normally do that but I thought it'd help the flow of the love...

More Machinima!

Valentines is vastly approaching and this year I hate to say but I have nothing creative to share with the community so far! I was quite ashamed to discover that in 2008 (my first simming year on the internet) I'd created a very basic and low quality diner, and that last year I'd created an outdoor themed diner! One of them was downloaded by few, the other was featured on thesims2.com but either way I'd gone out of my way to create something.

'You can't do diners three years running' I told myself the other afternoon, 'and how exactly do you make a house of love?' I added.

Was it mere coincidence that the other night I decided that I wanted to make short, snappy, Sims 3 related Machinima similar to my 'Burstin Burgular' back in the summer?

I temporarily scrapped the idea for a machinima I was getting round to making, and within half an hour I've drafted a storyboard for a 80 second long machinima themed on Valentines day. So after dinner it's time to boot up my game (what a chore) and start filming the brand new machinima!

I'll be back!

So blog, since my last post I have played quite a few hours worth of Sims, and when I say Sims, I actually mean simming. It's taken me about seven months, one expansion pack, one stuff pack, and about six uploaded lots to actually get into the gameplay aspect of the game. I must add that after being rather reluctant and forceful into playing the gaming side, I have finally settled down a legacy-styled (the important word here is styled) family.

It takes me back to my days of The Sims 2. I was always building for my lot collections, new ideas all the time, but inbetween I actually enjoyed playing my legacy-styled family: The Linnards. Now I could talk about the Linnards all day, telling you guys the memories I shared with them, it was just unfortunate that by the time they got to gen 5 I'd given up and devoted my time to lot building...

The Bailey Family are the new rage now, stepping into Sunset Valley the founder, Clive, has finally settled and now has a child with that tomboy Ayesha. Hopefully, I'll be telling their tale through chapters of narrated videos that will be hitting my YouTube Channel shortly. The first one should be up by the end of February...I'll make it a monthly thing to aim for, that way whatever I play, no matter how much or how little can be recorded.

However now I've got that family set up, it's back to focusing on Coursework for the time being. I managed to complete, dust off and print off two sections of my ICT work over the weekend and now I've got to take a look at Geography and English.
