I am happily married to the man of my dreams whom I gratefully met in the sims 2 community back in the fall of 2006 at; http://www.getphpbb.com/phpbb/index.php?mforum=sterlingsims2fo
where I have been a member since 2005. We decided to live in Norway, so I relocated here in the summer of 2010 from the USA. We are both avid simmers as I have been creating and sharing since 2005, although we have both had every sims basegame/ep/sp since sim city and sims 1.(my sims 2 user is Tazz5840) MY husband's username in sims 2 user is Terje75.
happy simming to all;o

Hi all, here is my first lot upload called \"Crystal Springs\", it\'s a modern home built into the rocks of it\'s surroundings, has 2 bedrooms with ensuite nursery and bath as well as 3 other baths, a basement recroom and all amenities a simmie could every need or want. Oh and the book shelves are stocked with every book sold at the book store, and is loaded with many extras. My simmie went around collecting seeds rocks and such and planted a fine garden as well as a small apple orchard and fished to her hearts content. So the fridge is packed with all kinds of goodies as is the yard. In the garden there is garlic, grapes, tomatoes, bell peppers, lettuce potatoes, limes and (2 unknown plants not fully matured yet). There are like 15 apple trees at different stages as well as many in the fridge from all these plants that can be sold or replanted for better quality. The bath upstairs has the rubber duckie and bubble bath as well.
Please remember to rec if you like what you see.
hugs, Terry
Making textures
POSTED ON 07/21/09 01:46 PM
Hi,
EDIT 07/24/09;
To have textures show in your game you can do one of 2 things; 1) download the texture and any creation with the texture on it or 2) simply download the object alone and the texture will show up in your game;)
Thought it was about time that I explained how my hubby (TnT_TJ) and I create our textures. We both search free images on the web, cut, paste, resize, touch up...etc in our art programs in which I have paintshop pro 9, Inkscape vector program(free dld), paint.net(free dld), adobe photoshop cs2 and windows paint all of which I use for different things. My hubby has Inkscape vector program(free dld), Corel draw, Gimp(free dld), Adobe photoshop cs4 and windows paint all of which he uses for different things as well. I myself do create some from scratch using my pattern creator in PSP, so therefore those are my own designs and my hubby does make his own silohettes for some of his textures. We both use the TSR sims 3 workshop to import these into the game and I am in the process of trying to learn how to use Delphy\'s pattern packager from Modthesims2.com as well.
Now if you want to begin making textures of your own and can afford an art program, then I would suggest purchasing either adobe CS4 (or an older supported version) or Corel paintshop Pro. Otherwise Gimp and Paint.net are both sufficient and great free download programs available on the net and they also both have many free plugins available as well, you just have to keep an eye out for updates and such. All textures must be in a 256 x 256 pixel png or bmp format to be imported into the game by either sims 3 workshop or delphy\'s pattern packager. The possibilities are truly endless creating textures, the trick is making them 100% seamless throughout (Cpsp,gimp,paint.net, adobe all have seamless tiling options), but not all textures can be made seamless as some will have serious and funky results...lol. Just experiment and have fun with the whole experience and you will be making as great textures as we and many other\'s are already in no time at all;o)
Any questions you might have about our textures please just send me or my hubby an email, but please don\'t bombard us with step by step Q\'s as we don\'t want to spend our creation time having to explain the process in detail to everyone...lol as there are numerous tutorials out there for this. Happy simming to all and here are our email addy\'s; rent-a-dog@hotmail.com and mine is Tazz58spin@yahoo.com
