My patterns are now all done in CAP, using Gimp and using the \'make seamless\' filter. I name them per the name they had as graphics when I did a search and found them.

I only recolor Maxis/EA items from the base game, the EPs and the SPs plus items/sets I purchase from the store

For Sims I DO use skintones, facial hair and makeup I download from MTS... I will try hard to put the name of the mts cc in the deion of the sim... for prior ones with cc skintones, they are most likely \'cmar_MetalSimsSkintonesAll\', I also use \'cmar_ears_pointed; cmar_ears
__pointedback; & cmar_ears_tilted\' quite often...

My Sims Clothing is all recolored using EA clothing and my own original patterns...

Here it is already July2 - the Sims 3 has been a part of my life for close to a month... and I love it!

I, as usual, have several lots I am building-my WIPs.. but, especially with the new \'create a style\' I just can\'t seem to finish them..

Addict opened a Sims3 yahoo group and our lot challenges each week have been popular beyond any imagination of response I could have ever fantasized.. and it is great to feel an integral part of a group of like-minded people..

I have uploaded perhaps over 700 patterns, items, households, sims, hair colors, clothing articles, and 5 lots to date. Have actually been able to create my own, simple but effective, patterns this past week.. I really need to learn \'vectors\' and \'rastors\' so I can do more graphics that are 3+/- clearly different colors.. now I just keep clicking the \'red\' \'green\' and \'blue\' and choosing colors at random because to duplicate the colors in the graphics I use is not in my knowledge base..

Am \'mapping\' all of the lots (community per the maxis placement - residences all bulldozed) of both Sunset Valley and Riverview.. sizes (including which side faces the actual street), addresses, lot value.. to help me in planning my personal building and the group as a whole..

Back to forum reading, mts2-SimsResource-Simposium checking, lot mapping, pattern making, using patterns to have pretty rooms and nice clothing.. and- actually PLAYING!
